I stood in the base hidden on Hoth. It was a frozen wasteland. I huffed out a cloud of white smoke, before grabbing a small wrench. I walked back towards the X-Wing that I had been working on. I stuck my body slightly into the little compartment that held wires and fuses. I reached in slightly, tightening a bolt on the engine.
"Shit I need a bolt.."
I spoke. There was a tap on my lower back. Instinctively I held my hand backward, feeling a bolt getting placed in it. I pulled it back in, putting it in the little hole it needed to be in.
"Thank you~"
I said sing song like.
"No problem."
His voice made my face rise in heat. I slammed my head on the bottom of the engine. I hissed out in pain. I felt his hands wrap around my waist as he pulled me out of the compartment. My hand held the side of my head, locking eyes with his. My face burned as I started at the Force user.
"General Skywalker!"
I said surprised as my face burned bright red. He smiled at me, letting his hands fall off my body.
"(Y/n)."
Luke spoke calmly. I quickly put my stuff back in the little tool box I had. He was wearing a heavy jacket but his helmet was off. His dirty blonde hair was scuffed, some pieces flying up and to the side. But it framed his face perfectly.
"Is everything alright with my ship?"
He said and nodded his head towards the X-Wing I was working on. My mind raced.
"Yes, I was just upgrading the hyperdrive. We have made a lot of improvement on them."
I said softly, pointing back at the compartment.
"Great!"
He cheered and walked closer to the X-Wing. Luke ran a hand across the metal of the ship. A small smile formed on my lips.
"I'm glad you like the upgrade."
I spoke softly. Luke turned back towards me. He had a smile plastered along his face.

"Then I'll see you in hell!"
General Solo yelled before riding past me on a Tauntaun. I blinked as my (h/c) whipped in my face from the sudden movement. I walked over towards one of the soldiers who were shaking his head.
"Where is Solo going?"
I asked.
"General Skywalker didn't come back. He's going out to look for him."
My heart dropped slightly. The doors should be shut in a few minutes and Luke's gone? Han too. I nodded slightly to walk away and I walked towards Luke's X-Wing. My hand ran across the metal. It made a cold shock run through my fingertips and through my body. I sighed heavily.
"Theres no way they'll make it back in time."
I said softly. Luke and I were as close as a mechanic and a pilot could be. He was one hell of one at that and I was one of the best mechanics the rebellion had. We had made small talk as much as we could. It made my heart flutter everytime we spoke, he was so childish but the cute kind. Not immature but he had that childish tone to him. Yes I did develop feelings for him but what else can you do? He was attractive and we had a good relationship unlike most of the pilots here. I walked towards the Falcon seeing Chewbacca and General Leia standing there looking at the blast doors. My breath hitched in my throat and I watched the doors slowly shut. Hearing the clank of the doors shutting. I walked towards my cabin, many thoughts dragging around my mind. I opened the door and sluggishly laid on my bed. I hugged the pillow close to my body and held small tears in my eyes in.
"Luke please come back.."
I spoke softly, a few tears slipping down my face.

~~~
I rushed through the hallways, pulling my jacket towards my body. A huge smile plastered across my face as the door opened from the medbay. General Solo walked out of the room, chewbacca following him. He had a sour look on his face as he walked by me. I blinked but walked into the room, Luke was laying on one of the cots but quickly snapped his head towards me. A smile pulled at the corners of his mouth when he locked eyes with me.
"(Y/n)!"
"General Skywalker, I came to make sure you were alright."
I said softly, walking over to him. He smiled and nodded at me. I scanned his face more, seeing the stitches that lined his cheek and the underside of his eye. He saw my gaze and reached a hand up to the stitches.
"I got attacked by one of those snow monsters."
He chuckled and looked at me. I shook my head, smiling at his childishness. Luke smiled and patted the cot slightly.
"Come here (Y/n). I'm sure you've been working your ass off."
He said. I sat down next to him and fiddled with my hands.
"(Y/n)?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you know where the Dagobah system is?"
My body froze slightly at the weird question. I racked my brain for an answer.
"I think I came across it once on a star map."
I looked at him. He smiled.
"Do you think you could update mine with it?"
I nodded and smiled back at him.
"Thank you."
Luke said, I felt his hand lay on my arm. I turned to look at him. My face burned slightly. He slowly grabbed my hand, placing a small kiss on my knuckles. My face burned and I sat there. Luke smiled brightly. He shifted in the bed and got up.
"I gotta get ready to go out."
Luke spoke, placing a small kiss on my cheek.
"Yeah..yeah!"
I said and got up. I looked back towards him, my face red.
"I'll see you around Luke!"
I squeaked and quickly ran out of the room.
