A/n: hi lol, I wrote this while in a mental breakdown because I wrote comfort for myself. Uhh its fluffy and kinda angsty?? Not really but oh well thank you guys for reading mwah

(Y/n) laid on her bed. A pillow clutched in her grasp as tears slowly stained her (s/c) face. Finally it just broke. All the emotions she had kept inside were now pouring out onto the pillow and her face. She felt so numb.
"Princess, I'm back."
Her boyfriend, Han Solo, broke the silence she had been laying in. She hadn't made a sound. Tears just flowed down her cheeks with small sniffling.
"(Y/n)? You here?"
He said again. Han walked towards their shared bedroom. They had a small lodging on Yavin IV near the base. His boots made (Y/n) shove her face into the pillow.
"(Y/n)? Oh there you are."
Han smiled as he looked into their room. The smile soon faded as he saw his girlfriend with her face in the pillow. She would normally run up to him and hug him. Since they usually never saw each other when he was helping the rebellion.
"Hey princess, what's wrong?"
(Y/n) didn't answer and only pushed her face into the pillow. Han furrowed his eyebrows as he walked towards the bed. Her legs pulled themselves into her body. Han looked at his girlfriend, laying next to her. She whimpered softly, more tears falling down her face. Han sighed softly. He slowly wrapped his arms around her smaller frame, pulling her to his chest. (Y/n) slowly moved her head away from the pillow. She slowly looked up at Han, her body shaking slightly. He looked down at her. (Y/n)'s cheeks were stained with tear trails. He pouted slightly, holding her head with his hand.
"Wanna talk about it Princess?"
Han asked, rubbing her cheek slightly. (Y/n) shook her head, pushing the pillow away from her body. She snuggled into his chest. Han laid his head on top of her. He rubbed circles on her back. (Y/n) sighed softly, closing her eyes. Part of her relaxed in his hold.  The other part still being pushed around by thoughts in her head. She had recently lost one of her few friends that were on the base. Well, I guess you could call them a friend. They turned out to be a spy sent from the empire. It really hit (Y/n) the hardest. They had been bestfriends. They both were medics and they both distracted each other from the pain everyone went through when they lost someone. Sometimes you just can't save everyone and (Y/n) always had a hard time dealing with it. Mostly taking the blame for herself.
"Did something happen at work?"
Han asked softly into (Y/n)'s (h/c) hair. She shook her head and slowly moved herself away from him. Han looked down at her.
"It might make you feel better to talk."
He said, kissing her temple. (Y/n) let out a long sigh.
"I was thinking about Tyrosin.."
(Y/n) said softly. Han blinked but he quickly frowned.
"You upset about him being a spy?"
Han asked trying to get more information. (Y/n) nodded and slowly sat up in the bed. Han copied her movements, softly grabbing her hand. (Y/n) stared down at the blanket.
"I should've noticed before.."
She spoke softly, tears threatening to fall down her cheeks. Han clicked his tongue before gently grabbing her chin. He turned her head to meet his gaze.
"(Y/n), listen, no one in this entire base had a second thought about it. Not even Luke and he has the force or whatever,"
Han said, pushing his forehead against the girl's.
"There's no way you could've noticed. Sometimes people aren't just what you think they are."
Han said softly. (Y/n) made a small hiccup as she held her cries in.
"I miss him."
She croaked out. Han nodded and kisses her cheek.
"I know Princess, but you got me, Leia, Luke, Chewie. All of us are here for you and were going to do our best to make the best memories in our lives."
Han said. He placed a small kiss on her cheek as tears slowly started to fall down then. (Y/n) smiled softly and nodded.
"Now come here, you're gonna want to sleep soon."
Han laid back down and reached his arms out to embrace (Y/n). She made a small giggle, laying into his arms. He was right, a few moments after they laid back down, (Y/n) had passed out in Han's arms. He smiled down at her holding her close to him.
