CHAPTER 69!

With Saiki (Limited)

"We're all gonna die,"

Saiki's breath got caught in his throat as he quietly coughed up the air stuck in his lungs, then quickly looked between his worried friends, who didn't look like they were joking. They all sat speechlessly, thinking that Saiki was processing and trying to understand that they were all going to die soon.

Saiki wanted to tell them that he understood and that he knew how to fix it, that he had the knowledge and ability to fix it, but he couldn't, by the law breathing down his neck or by pure fear that his friends knew, or will soon know about his death with the last day on Earth. His mind was a complete buzz of emotions and thoughts of his own. Mikoto and Toritsuka patiently waited for an answer, but they only saw a little bit of sweat trickling down the side of their friend's head. No one said anything, no one made a move.

It was dead and quiet for a few minutes, as Saiki thought, while Mikoto and Toritsuka listened closely for a reply from the ex-strongest psychic of the group, but they never got a solid answer. As Saiki stood up and nodded with tight lips across his face, it was a sign of knowing but not facing the facts. He gave them slight but rhythmic bobs of the head and a single one-shoulder shrug.

"I know,"

Saiki then spun on his heel and walked away, as both of his friends watched him leave. Saiki knew this was likely the last chance that he'll see them, but they didn't. Saiki didn't even bother saying goodbye, as he slowly left to the train station.

They didn't even send him a text.

Saiki knew breaking up their friendship now was a better idea, than dying and knowing that he didn't say goodbye to them.

Saiki was back that same morning, it was about three in the morning when he got off the train, and around three-thirty when he drank and finished three cups of coffee in his apartment. Sleeping for a grand total of around one hour, as then he had to ready himself and get to work.

By the time Saiki had finished climbing the mountain, he was looking half-dead and falling asleep standing. Saiki though was almost out of the exoskeleton, so that made him okay-ly happy.

However, Koro-Sensei was not 'okay-ly happy', Saiki noticed as he saw Koro-Sensei's face flushed with pleasure and delight, as he looked through all his students happily, wiggling around his tentacles like a dog wagging his tail.

"Congratulations all around! Well done everybody!" Koro-Sensei said as Saiki looked over to him in confusion. Saiki wasn't sure what he missed, or how much he missed, last time he checked it was only one free-lance episode.

He was clearly wrong but chose not to look back on it, and just stick to the current arc, while the author planned on killing him at the end of the story.

"Those second blades twinkled!" Koro-Sensei cheered for his students, "Everyone was accepted into a top tier school of their choice!" Koro-Sensei clapped his yellow hands as the students chatted happily with one another. Saiki was beginning to understand what he missed in the last episode.

"You'll be entering into freshman year, like the rock stars you are!" he cheered, Saiki might as well buy him a cheerleading outfit and some double ponytail wigs with curls.

"Ah what a tremendous weight off my shoulders!"

Saiki shot him a tired glance, "Your's?" Saiki questioned, but Koro-Sensei just looked out into the horizon of students like a proud parent he wasn't.

"We're meant to begin our final round of career counseling sessions today, but there's still something I'm rather keen on doing beforehand. What might that be, you ask?" Koro-Sensei looked at Saiki as if he were the one asking the questions. Saiki didn't care, but for the sake of his smiling students with confetti poppers in hand, he just went along with it. He shrugged.

"How to mark such a joyous occasion...!" he said as the students waited.

Soon Koro-Sensei was in front of an office computer with glasses on face, and in a sad tone, he said, "Editing. Of course."

Saiki exhaled a 'good grief'

The students were shocked by the sudden change in attitude.

"OH YES!" Koro-Sensei cheered, "We will be commemorating E-Class..." he lifted and dropped his glasses smartly on his face, "With a special yearbook!"

Saiki looked at him and sighed, Good grief this was only the prologue.
