Hyeonju Choi was born on the 31st of May, 1997. He was 16 when he died.
Hyeonju Choi was the eldest child of his family, only having one younger sister. He was described as shy but kind, thoughtful and talkative. He had a close relationship with his sister, often watching anime with her. His sister considered Hyeonju her father. Hyeonju was friends with Kim Kisoo, whom he often went to karaoke with. Hyeonju was also part of the school's robotics club. His dream was to have a career related to animals, because he loved the poodle 'Moonson' he was raising at home.
His body was recovered and returned to his family. He rests at Hwaseong Sky Memorial Park.
