Jaeyoung Kim was born on the 24th of December, 1997. He was 16 when he died

Born on Christmas, Jaeyoung was a precious gift to his parents. He also had a sister, who was three years younger than him. Jaeyoung cared for his parents, and always kept his promises. He was saving money, so he could buy a smartphone to his mother. He also studied hard, without complaining. He loved computers, and he build computers from spare parts he found. He also admired Steve Jobs. He had begged his mother to go buy his book when it was released. His motto was ''Let's do our best and live!'' Jaeyoung's dream was to work for Google. He had been excited about the field trip, because his parents had taken him to Jeju island two years prior.

His body was recovered shortly after the accident and returned to his family. He now rests at Pyeongtaek Lakeside Memorial Park.
