Minseok Choi (Class 5)

Minseok Choi was born on the 24th of July, 1998. He was 16 when he died.

Minseok was the youngest of his family. He preferred books over toys when he was younger. He loved anime, manga, and japanese media in general. His favorite anime was Love Live! Because of his love for anime, he gained the nickname 'Haruka' in Luri Web, a website focused on anime and manga. He posted animations and articles in there, and gained popularity. Minseok was described as responsible and caring. Every word that came out of his mouth was filled with common sense, and he often gave out good advice. Minseok's dream was to become a police officer.

Before the field trip, Minseok wrote his last post to Luri Web. ''I don't have time to watch anime, because I'm heading to Jeju Island for 4 nights.''
After the news of the sinking broke out, Minseok received hundreds of messages from worried fans.

"Your favorite's the ending of the third part has come out."
"Please add a comment!"
"I love you"
''Please be alive''
''Please, if you're alive just one word...''

His body was recovered and returned to his family. He now rests at Hwaseong Sky Memorial Park.
