Kyeongmin Lee was born on the 7th of May, 1997. She was 16 when she died.

Kyeongmin was the youngest child of her family. She had a huge age gap with them, and one of her sisters was already married and had kids. She loved her nephew, and she took care of him when his mother was busy with work. She had two nicknames 'gangster' at home and 'Sangmin' at school, but her nephew called her 'Gangmo'. Kyeongmin was a good leader and relied on her sisters if she needed moral support, and she had a lot of friends too. Her best friend was Eunbyeol Lee. Kyeongmin was a good dancer, and she was a fan of the k-pop group EXO.

Three days before leaving, Kyeongmin got to meet her second nephew who had just born. She awaited to meet her again after the field trip. According to her surviving friend, Kyeongmin had stayed in her cabin with her five friends. She tried not to cry because she was panicing, she knew she'd make her friends cry too. Then one of her friends started crying, and it didn't take long for all five to cry and mourn. They were scared, and waiting for the rescue that never came. After the sinking, she appeared in her mothers dream. Her mother saw that Kyeongmin was on the ferry, but she had injured her leg and couldn't escape the raising water. Her nephew also sometimes just watched out the window, waiting for her aunt. "I want to see my aunt~! Gang-mo, come back!" She cried.

Her body was recovered and returned to her parents. She now rests at Hwaseong Sky Memorial Park.
