Taemin Gu was born on the 28th of March, 1997. He was 17 when he died.

When Taemin was young, he was short and chubby, but by high school, he became tall and handsome. He was often described as outgoing and charming, his brother was the opposite. Despite that, they barely had fights. Taemin loved cheesecake, soccer and football. He was a boy scout when he was younger, and knew how to operate a boat, but it didn't work for his favor. His mother owned a yatch, and they sometimes went to trips with it. Taemin had once recreated the famous scene from Titanic with his mother, the one where Rose feels like she's flying. Taemin's dream was to attend the Hanyang University to become an ROTC.

His body was recovered and returned to his family. He now rests at Ansan Sky Memorial Park.
