Seongho Choi was born on the 23th of June, 1998. He was 16 when he died.

Seongho was the only child of his family. His father was usually busy with work, so Seongho took care of the household. He had a talent in cooking, which helped him a lot, he often surprised his family with spaghetti or cake. Despite having so much responsibility, Seongho was a kind young man with a warm heart. He kept a list of his goals, before the trip it said as follows: "Pass Introduction to Psychology.
Raise my GPA.
Stay healthy."
Seongho also sewed and knitted with his mother, until he became better than her at it. Seongho was also good at playing the piano. He also kept track of the blooming of cherry blossoms, and texted his mother when the time was optimal. His best friends were Junwoo Lee from class 7 and Geonwoo Kim from class 5. Seongho loved reading books. So much that he dreamed of writing one himself, and making a career out of it.

During the sinking, Sungho texted his parents. His last message was sent at 10:50 ''The phone isn't working well. Don't worry, I'll come out alive.'' When the bodies were being retrieved, a scream could be heard from one of the tents. It was Kyungdeok Choi, Seongho's father. He wanted to raise his only child well, and let him succeed in life, but now he lost him. ''I miss you! I love you!'' could be heard.

His body was recovered and returned to his family. He now rests at Pyeongtaek Lakeside Memorial Park.
