Hyeseon Kim was born on the 21st of November, 1997. She was 16 when she died.

Hyeseon was born to a family, whose business had just gone bankrupt. Despite them facing difficulties with finances, Hyeseon stayed happy and bright her entire life. She was the youngest child. She cared for her parents, spending holidays with them, and baking her dad a cake every father's day. She considered her mother to be her best friend. Hyeseon dreamed of becoming a visual designer, but her mother hated the idea, so she changed her mind and wanted to become a ship builder instead.

Her body was recovered and returned to her parents. She now rests at Pyeongtaek Lakeside Memorial Park.
