Seungmuk Kang was born on the31rd of March, 1997. He was 17 when he died.
Seungmuk was tall and shy, but he was also gentle and friendly. He had a girlfriend, Yeonhwa Lee from class 1, but they decided to keep their relationship a secret. His parents loved his shy smile. He loved music and played multiple instruments, such as the piano, guitar, harmonica, and violin. He dreamed of becoming a composer.
A 1-minute clip of him playing the piano and singing along to it is seen in ''Mom, the first and last moment of my life.'' It's at 2:18.
His body was recovered and returned to his parents. He now rests at Pyeongtaek Lakeside Memorial Park.
