Jaehoon Kim was born on the 23th of February, 1997. He was 17 when he died.

Jaehoon lived with his parents, along with his younger brother. When he was asked who his best friend was, he responded ''Friends shouldn't be ranked!'' Jaehoon was overall warm, and caring, especially towards his younger brother, who prefered him over his parents. Jaehoon cared for his parents, mostly for his mother. She was a fan of the actor, Minho Lee. So Jaehoon got her gifts relating to Minho, and even changed her phone wallpaper to a picture of Minho. He was talented in writing, and won multiple contests in both writing and science.

His body was recovered and returned to his parents. He now rests at Pyeongtaek Lakeside Memorial Park.
