Suin Kwak was born on the 30th of April, 1997. He was 16 when he died.

Suin was the eldest child of his family. His best friend was his mother. She was his last contact during the trip, ''I'm going there now.'' He showed an interest in reading from a young age. He loved reading history books and he hated learning the wrong history. Suin was introverted and shy when he was young, but as high school rolled around, he became more talkative and friendly. He also picked up basketball, judo, gold and soccer. His motto was ''You can always raise your strenght, and correct what is wrong.'' Suin's dream was to work in abroad sales.

His body was recovered and returned to his family. He now rests at Pyeongtaek Lakeside Memorial Park.
