Subin Lee (Class 7)

Subin Lee was born on the 30th of November, 1997. He was 16 when he died.

Subin was born a month too early, and had to spend his first weeks in an incubator. He grew up strong, and later got a younger brother, who admired his brother like an idol. Subin was a good leader, and very handsome. Subin had many friends whom he playd soccer with, and he also had a girlfriend whom he loved very much. Subin loved soccer and mathematics, and he even got scholarships for schools because he was so good at math. Subin's dream was to become either a P.E teacher or a banker.

Subin was excited for the field trip, because his family had visited Jeju Island when he was in middle school. The last his parents heard from him was him waving behind the window of the bus. The bus left, heading towards the port. According to a survivor, when he was in the coast guard's boat, he saw Subin behind a window, still inside the ferry. He was banging on the window, begging the people outside to save him.

His body was recovered and returned to his parents. He now rests at Pyeongtaek Lakeside Memorial Park.
