Jaewook Lee was born on the 19th of December, 1997. He was 16 when he died.
Jaewook had an older sister whom he cared for. He had many dreams since he was a child, and was very open to talk about them with his sister. Jaewook wanted to be a baseball player, a vet, a animal breeder, a firefighter, he couldn't decide. He never argued with his parents, and cared for them instead. He was overall a sweet, gentle and friendly young man. Jaewook had many friends, Seongho Choi, Junwoo Lee, Jaehoon Kim, and Geonwoo Kim, whom he was a part of the band ADHD with. Geonwoo was the drummist, and Jaewook played the guitar. Jaewook's motto was ''Let's enjoy'', and he had written it on his desk. He also had uploaded a video to YouTube. It was about preventing violence in schools. Jaewook worried a lot, but his biggiest worry was should he shave his beard before the trip. He also had changed his mind about what he'd do when he grows older. He wanted to attend the Department of Landscape Architecture at Shingu University so he could become a landscape architect.
His body was recovered eight days after the sinking and returned to his family. He now rests at Hwaseong Sky Memorial Park.
