Wonseok Jeong was born on the 3rd of March, 1997. He was 17 when he died.
Wonseok was the youngest of five siblings. He cared for his mother and his older sisters immensly. He practiced Jiu Jitsu, so he could defend them from danger. Wonsok was really polite and caring. Wonseok dreamed of becoming a soldier or a police officer.
According to survivors, Wonseok had made his way to the deck, but went back to get his friend who was sleeping. Even until his last moments, he put others before him.
His body was recovered shortly after the accident and returned to his family. He now rests at Pyeongtaek Lakeside Memorial Park.
