Yeeun Kim was born on the 4th of July, 1997. She was 16 when she died.
Yeeun was the eldest child of her family. She often fought with her two-year old sister, but still played with her if she asked. Yeeun was described as thoughtful, outspoken and honest. She was carefree, and had a happy life. She wanted to visit France when she gets older. Yeeun had a big friend group, and she hung out with them if she wasn't fangirling over the k-pop group Beast. She dreamed of becoming a singer
According to survivors, Yeeun was with Miji Kim, yelling others to get out to the deck. It didn't work, and cost them both their lives.
Her body was recovered and returned to her family. She now rests at Hwaseong Sky Memorial Park.
