Heebeom Jeong (Class 4)

Heebom Jeong was born on the 3rd of April, 1997. He was 17 when he died.

Heebeom was the eldest child. He was described as a polite, caring and a little introverted young man. He loved drawing, baseball, and his mother. He had also shown a talent in painting. Heebeom had three younger brothers. His dream was to become a car designer.

Heebeom had told his mother that he wanted to skip the trip because he felt afraid. She insisted that he should go, because there was nothing to be afraid of. She also thought it was a little odd that he was scared, he had been to ferry trips before and never had felt afraid.

His body was recovered and returned to his family. He now rests at Hwaseong Sky Memorial Park.
