Chapter 19

GILINSKY'S pov
I wake up and go downstairs. I usually get some water and go back to bed. I get my water and walk up the stairs. It is like 4:30 in the morning. I walk past Brook's room and see her awake. I go in and sit on her bed with her. She is watching youtube. She is on a playlist. I look closer at the screen and see that she is listening at JJ and my music. "Do you like it?" I ask excited that she might say yes. "Yeah I like that song Flights!" She says smiling. I grab her laptop and type in Sammy's music. She watches the audio version of "Nothin To A King" and smiles. She types in a song called "Beast by Timeflies" I listen to it and it is really good. We go back and forth showing each other music and buying some songs. She has great music. She also listens to a lot of rap music and Somo. It is really good. After a while I hear little snores coming from her mouth. I pull the covers over her and go back to my room. After a while, I go back to sleep. We have to do what Hayes' wants to do today.

I wake up again and take a shower. I get dressed and go back to the kitchen. I think Brook is trying to teach Matt how to NOT burn the house down by cooking. They are making eggs. He is actually doing well. She comes over to me and gives me a hug and goes back over to Matt to check on him. He finishes the eggs and serves us. They are horrible. He takes a bite and then spits it out. He says "Guys, you don't have to eat whatever I make again." We all spit it out and Shawn starts making us decent food. Brook is in her room and JJ isn't awake so we didn't have our normal reliable cooks. He makes good eggs and we all eat. Brook comes down already dressed and sits down at the counter. She just gets some water and then goes back to her room. We all look outside and see it is raining. Then we all understand. Brook tends to get all calm when it rains so we just leave her alone. She just sleeps or listens to music. Jacob thinks we should get her a mix table like the one Mahogany has for Christmas. It is a Native Instruments Kontrol S4. I agree but we will need to see how much it cost first. We all share money considering we have loads of it because of tours and music and our merch. So it shouldn't be a problem. We have to do what Hayes' wants to tomorrow because it is raining. I think we are going to the movies for him. He wants to see take Brook to see The Fault In Our Stars with her. It is a good idea. She doesn't cry alot though. She is pretty strong in that way. Only her eyes tell us what she is feeling. Right now her eyes are a grey color. She told me that means she is tired or doesn't feel good. I go to my room and see her asleep. I take a pic and whisper "goodnight" and leave. She is curled into a little ball on top of the covers. She has earphones in and is listening to a playlist called "THE BEST". It is all of our music. Sammy, Jack and I,
Shawn, Jacob, Aaron, Taylor, and Dillon. Awe she supports us. I leave and go in my room. We all are really tired today. The only person doing something productive it Shawn. He is working on schoolwork. I get in bed and take a nap. I fall asleep being proud of Brook for being so accepting with us.
