GILINSKY'S pov
I go to Brook's room and see her on her laptop doing her schoolwork. She is doing a bunch this week so she doesn't have any to do when we are in New Jersey. I walk over to her and put my hand on her shoulder. She looks at me and stands up. I explain to her how MAGCON is going to go and when I mention the plane ride, her eyes go wide. "Don't worry, Hayes is going to sit next to you . I am in front of you and Sammy is behind you. We will all be pretty close to you." I say. She hugs me and after we pull apart, she goes back to typing about the Revolution and I go to my room. It's really late and everybody already ate something so I take a shower and go to bed. I am thinking about Brook's eyes. She has started telling us what they mean when they change color. Grey is tired, dark blue is love, light yellow is embarrassment, vivid blue is rebellious and she gets is a lot. And the darker in green her eyes get, mean more gratitude. It is amazing really. They are beautiful and crazy and weird all at the same time. Hayes has a particular interest in them. He says he wants to understand her more. But I think he just really loves her eyes. Who would not though
