~OUR TRIAL RELATIONSHIP~

“So what about a trial relationship?” Manik asked smilingly making Nandini shocked.
“What? What trial? Its not a shopping mall that I will get a trial, Manik.” Nandini in shocked tone.
“First listen to me. Do u know what is trial relationship?” Manik asked. Nandini nodded in no.
“I am hearing this for the first time.” She said.
“Okay let me explain u.” Manik said and Nandini nodded in yes asking him to explain.
“My status for us is ‘like’ and u are confused about ur feelings. So lets date each other. In this way we will get to know about each other’s likes and dislikes. So basically, it is a relationship of girlfriend boyfriend, but not committed one. It is a relationship where we are more than friends and less than lovers. What say?” Manik explained her.
“Manik, we are not 18 years old teenager that we will get into a trial relationship.” Nandini said in matter of fact tone.
“Yeah yeah I know u are 45 years old lady and I am 50.” Manik said in sarcasm. Nandini glared at him.
“One daughter’s father talking about trial relationship doesn’t sound good.” Nandini said.
“Having a baby doesn’t means I am old. I am still young. And who on this earth gets old at age of 28?” Manik said.
Nandini looked down thinking about the trial relationship.
“But what if I think that u are not the one for me?” Nandini asked.
“Then u can break up with me. U can step out of this relationship whenever and wherever u want.” Manik said shrugging his shoulder.
“So in this relationship we will act like girlfriend and boyfriend?” Nandini asked as she waa still confused about this.
“Yes Nandini. But just with ‘like’ status.” Manik said nodding in yes.
“Nandini don’t get too confuse. It is very simple. If u think that u like me then say yes or else say no.” Manik said in soft tone seeing her confused.
“But we will go slow right? I mean u won’t keep so many expectations from me, right?” Nandini asked.
“Of course Nandini, we will take every step slowly. The way this feelings are new for u, even it is new for me. So don’t worry. And there will be no expectations with each other. We will just date and try to know each other, that’s it.” Manik said softly trying to assure her.
Nandini gave him a small smile and nodded in yes.
“So are u in?” Manik asked.
“Yeah.” Nandini said. Manik gave her a big smile.
Manik was going to say something to her but he stopped as he got a call. It was Cabir. He picked up his call.
