I know I talk about Moomin a lot, but this time, I want to take a quick break from Moomin to talk about something in total drama. I've been watching TDRR recently(bc it's really good and I've been a hardcore total drama fan since tdi first aired. Some of my best memories is kid me and my younger brother watching the current total drama series(at the time) each week and continuing to watch each new series, even as we grew older) and these two are Ryan and Stephanie:

They're a couple that met at the gym six months ago, developed love at first sight, they rushed their love for each other, and didn't even get to know each other that well. Aka THEY NEED TO SEE OTHER PEOPLE.
Why besides those reasons? Well: 1. Love at first sight existed for them, which is already bad. Plus, they both rushed love. Love takes time. Don't rush it. 2. When they're not making out, Stephanie verbally abuses and belittles Ryan. 3. Or they fight. 4. When they're not fighting or Stephanie isn't verbally abusive to Ryan, they become 'imagine: Shawn Mendes throws a pineapple at you. And now you're married!' 5. Their personalities clash, and not in a good way. 6. The Fashionistas, Noah x Emma, and even The Goths have better chemistry than Ryan and Stephanie. (Heck, even in the Romania episode during the gymnastics challenge, Jen(one of the fashionistas) was saying supportive comments to her teammate, Tom, and making sure Tom was okay after he accidentally smacked into a ceiling light while doing a flip. Meanwhile, Stephanie(who was right next to Jen) was belittling Ryan for having trouble with the gymnastics challenge and screaming at him for falling down and becoming injured from the balance beam) 7. In conclusion: they need to realize that you shouldn't rush into love, don't fall in love at first sight, get to know each other a bit before dating, and for Stephanie to realize and fix her toxic behavior.
