Time skip- 2 years later

Jellybean is 15

Jayden is 3

Addy, Mason, Naomi, Cameron, and Cassie are 2

Betty POV

Addy is 2 and Jayden is 3, it is definitely bittersweet. I love seeing them grow up and become their own person, but at the same time I don't want my babies to grow up. They are also pretty advanced in their speech. Addy is still a daddy's girl and Jayden is still a momma's boy. Jayden started going to preschool in August, but he only goes 3 times a week for a few hours. We signed Addy up for a play group because we saw she was struggling with Jayden not around while he was at school. She loves play group because all of our friends kids go there as well. Our work schedule as of now is quite different opposed to a few years ago. Now, I wake up and bring Jayden to school then go to work while Jug brings Addy to playgroup then goes to work. Then, at 12:30 I pick Jayden and Adalyn up and go to the bar where they run around and play with each other, their friends, and the serpents while Jug and I get some more work done. Then, on days there is no school, I take one of them to the office with me and Jug takes the other. We have lunch together and trade kids, then meet up at the bar and hang out for the rest of the night.

Currently, I was on the couch in the living room going over plans and making sure we had everything for this baby. Oh! Thats another thing, I'm pregnant with our third and most likely last baby. I love having kids but my body can only handle so much and with our jobs I don't think we can handle more than three.

"mama" I heard and looked up to see my little girl in front of me with a tear stained face

"hey bug, whats wrong?" I asked as she walked over to me, I picked her up and placed her on my lap.

"bad dream" she answered and sniffled

"what happened in the bad dream?" Jug and I always asked what it was about so we could help them fix it, we learned to do this when Jellybean was little.

"a mean man hurt you and daddy and JJ and me" she said crying, I started rubbing her back to calm her down.

"It's okay, baby. It's not real. No one will hurt you, me, daddy, or Jayden" I said and kissed her head.

"but what if they do?" she asked scared

"they won't. Addy, you know how we go to the Wyrm everyday and daddy and I are the bosses, and you and JJ are little bosses?" she giggled and nodded "Well, part of their job is to protect all the little kids and each other" I told her and she still looked like she believed it. "all better?" I asked and she nodded

"All better!" she said smiling

"Lets get you back to bed " I said as I picked her up bringing her back to her room. I placed her in her bed. "Goodnight bug" I said and kissed her head

"mama, is baby boy or girl?" she asked

"we don't know yet" I said and laughed

"I want it to be a girl" she told me

"We'll see"

"I love you mama" she told me and my heart bursted

"I love you too baby, now get some sleep" I shut the light off and went back to the living room.

"Betts, you should really get some sleep" Jug said as he stood in the doorway

"I will in one second, let me just do this last thing" I told him as I checked the last detail "okay, I'm done" We walked into our bedroom and got into bed cuddling. "You know, tonight Addy told me she wants the baby to be a girl" I said and he laughed
