Betty POV

We leave in a week for Hawaii and it is hectic. First, we both had to make sure our jobs were stable enough to leave for a week so we've been busy getting everything ready. Nina is going to be in charge of my organization and Jug is leaving Fangs and Toni in charge of the Wyrm. Then, we had Cam's birthday two days ago, and that was crazy. On top of that, I have to start packing soon and have no time for that. But, we're going to take it one step at a time and figure it out.

I was at work finishing some things up while Jug took the kids to the park. Suddenly, my phone was ringing.

"Hello?" I asked since I forgot to look at who was calling

"Hey, Betty" it was JB "I uh...I have a question for you and Jug about the trip" she sounded almost....nervous

"yea, of course. What is it?" I asked giving her all my attention

"Actually I need to ask it in person so can I come over later?"

"yea! I should be home around 4:30 ish so do you want to come over around 5:45 and have dinner here?"

"yea, that'll be good." she replied

"okay, great! Is your dad coming?" I asked so I could make sure we had enough food

"no, he has to work tonight"

"okay, well I'll see you around 5:45. love you, bye!"

"love you too, bye" she said before ending the call. I wonder what her question could be.

It was 4:00, so I decided to go home. Once I got into my car I called Jug and started driving. He picked up on the third ring.

"Hey baby, whats up?" he asked and it sounded like he was out of breath

"nothing, just on my way home from work. Why are you out of breathe?" I asked laughing and he chuckled

"I'm trying to get Addy and Jayden in the car to go home. Why are our kids so difficult?" he asked breathlessly and I just laughed

"I told you taking them to the park is all fun and games until its time to leave." I explained and we both laughed again

"Addy! Jayden! Come say hi to mommy on the phone!" I heard him yell. Suddenly I heard the little voices that I love

"mama!" "mommy!" they both yelled

"hi guys! I'm almost home so why dont you listen to daddy and get in the car so I can see you faster" I tried to convince them. I heard shuffling noises and then Jugs voice

"finally" he sighed and I giggled "okay, I have to buckle them in but I will see you at home. I love you"

"I love you, too"

I was finally home and when I got into the driveway I saw Jugheads black 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio. I grabbed my purse along with my phone and laptop and got out of the car. I walked into the house and put my belongings onto the counter.
