Vincenzo's POV:
It's been a month since our fight and now Lars has flown into Montreal. I'm accompanying him, it's been a week long trip at a hotel and he had normal hours so we've had more time for ourselves
He explained that after the final update today they're gonna have it tested. All he'll do now is fix bugs and work on codes. He'll have normal hours until the release.
Oscar and I are walking the streets of Montreal to a park that's not too far from our hotel. I notice a little boy no older than 8 kicking around a soccer ball. He's in his own world but trips and the ball goes towards the street. He runs after it and completely ignores the car that's coming.
"Fuck" I curse and run and pull him out of the road. The car didn't slow down but instead ran over his ball.
"What an asshole he would've hit this poor kid" Oscar says annoyed
I look at the kid
"Are you okay" he nods
"You shouldn't run in the street like that without looking both ways. You could've gotten killed"
"But my ball" he mumbles
"That ball isn't worth more than your life"
"Where are your parents" Oscar asks
"I don't have any" I frown
"Who are you staying with then"
"I live at the orphanage not too far from here" he whispers
"Let's go kid we'll walk you back" he shook his head
"No it's fine I can make my way back. I don't wanna be more of a bother"
"We don't take no for an answer so let's start walking"
After an hour walk we made it to a super run down home
"This is my stop. Thank you for saving me"
"No problem"
After he went inside I called the driver to meet us here.
In the car
"He was adorable" Lars said
"Yeah he was and poor kid lives in that dump"
"Yeah I wanna help maybe we can donate that'll help fix up that place"
"Yeah and maybe we can adopt him" I said
"Are you being serious right now"
"Yeah why not. We've been married for what 2 years now and we both want kids. This could be a great start, he adorable and our family would love him"
"Baby you don't have to convince me, I was thinking the same thing"
"Perfect let's go to the mall and get him a new ball and some clothes"
"I'll call the orphanage and make an appointment for first thing in the morning, then call and have one of the maids clear out a room for him and go shopping" Lars adds
