Chapter 15

Wyatt's POV:

Dad woke me up at 6:15 in the morning for school. Who thought that deprive kids of sleep for half a day was a good idea.

"Wyatt get your butt in the shower" daddy shook me

"1 more hour"

"Most kids ask for 5 more minutes"

"I'm not most kids" I mumbled into dad's pillow

"WYATT ASHER LOMBARDI IF YOUR IN THE SHOWER BY THE COUNT OF 10 NO MORE SOCCER" Dad yelled

I jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom . After I showered I put on my black uniform. This school is so weird there are two uniforms. One is gray, black, and white the other is dark blue and white. My school alternates the uniform so one month the odd number classes wear gray and the evens wear dark blue, then the next month we switch.

I grabbed my Jurassic world backpack that dad bought me and went to the kitchen and ate breakfast.

"Okay time to go"

I got in the car and we made our way to a huge school

"Woah"

"Yeah it's huge they need lots of space to have k-12 here" Dad said

"Damn you went here. This makes my school look like a lunchbox" daddy said making me laugh

"Okay Ash we're going to to walk you to class but first rules. You'll behave and respect your teacher. I don't want to get called in to talk to your teacher., Understood"

"Yeah I understand can we get this over with" I groaned

"He spends way too much time with dad buddy"

We walked to my class 4-100

"Hi my name is Mrs. Reese I'll be your 4th grade teacher this year. What's your name" my teacher asked

"My name is Wyatt I like your eyes they look cool" she had two different colored eyes

"Aw aren't you a sweetie. Go inside and find a seat anywhere. Dads you're relieved of your duties for the day" they said bye to me then left

I sat at a table near the back next to Emmet

"Hey Wyatt looks like we have class together" he beamed

"Yeah im happy I know someone"

"We'll I'll introduce you to my friends. This is Jesse she's the only girl in our group. Unlike the other girls she's not annoying. The redhead is Flynn and he's Lance" he introduced me

"Hey Im Wyatt"

"Welcome to our crew. Now that our table is full we don't need to add anyone else to the group" Jesse said

"Yeah we'll be besties from now on" Flynn declares

We talked and joked until the teacher came in and gave us a worksheet

"Okay class I want you to write a paragraph of one idea you have for a field trip this year and why! Remember 5-8 full sentences"

"Ugh it's the first day let us be" Lance complained

"Right" I agreed

"Quiet kids we're writing not talking"

I wrote about going to the history museum. I ended up writing 2 paragraphs without realizing. I put me pencil down and I noticed I finished first. I was really bored so I started balancing on my chair.

"Wyatt don't do that you'll get hurt"

"Sorry Im just bored"

"Well complete your assignment and then you can color"

"I did I wrote 2 paragraphs by accident. I hope that's okay" I said nervous

She came over and read my response

"This is very well written Wyatt. Go ahead and color but keep quiet I don't want you distracting the other kids" I nodded

Before we knew it, it was lunch

"Wow Wy you're a nerd" Flynn joked

"Not really I try to finish my work quick so I can sleep. I hate school"

"Honestly who likes school" Jesse said with a disgusted face and I laughed

"Wow Wyatt you have such a cute laugh"

"And you're so smart"

"Your hair is so soft" a bunch of girls crowded around me and started playing with my hair

"Aww look he's so red"

"Please stop" I asked but they didn't listen

"He said back off you ugly bugs" Jesse said

"Shut up Jesse"

"Seriously leave me alone" I said louder

"Ugh are you guys dating or something"

"They just met and we're 4th graders" Emmet said and we all agreed

"So even the second graders date" she said in a duh tone

"Carly back off he's not desperate like you" Flynn said

"Shut up ginger you're just jealous cause you're ugly and he's not" Flynn frowned and some of the other girls started laughing at him

"That's really mean Carly you're honestly not even that pretty" I said

"Uhm Im the cutest girl in our grade"

"Not really your personality kinda ruins that and honestly Jesse is way prettier than you" Flynn replied

She looked angry. She grabbed her milk and opened it. Then she walked over and poured it on Flynn

"Oops" and the other kids started laughing

"Why are you so mean" Flynn cried and ran out the classroom

"What a baby" Carly said Jesse punched her in response

"Ahhhhh" she screamed and cried

"Let's go find Flynn" I said and we ran out following the trail of milk to the boys bathroom

We all walked in and found Flynn crying rinsing out his hair

"Hey Flynn are you okay" I asked

"No I smell like milk and now we're gonna be in so much trouble" dang he's right

We kept him company in the bathroom but then a girl walked in and screamed

Teachers flooded into the bathroom

"What's going on"

"There are boys in here" the girl who screamed pointed

"You 5 follow me to the principals office now"

"It's only the first day and we're already in trouble. If this doesn't make us besties for life I don't know what will" Emmet said and we laughed

"This isn't funny sit here while we call your parents"
