Well dinner is... tense
"What happened to your face Wyatt" Maddox asked
"Some emotional bitch punched him" Emmet said
"Fuck you man whore" Flynn yelled
"Guys there's a time and a place" I told them
"Exactly in front of our parents isn't one of those places" Lance ended
"What's going on" Declan asked
"Nothing just a petty fight it'll solve itself" I say
"It's more than just a petty fight he's being a shit friend" Flynn said
"You're one to talk you socked Wyatt when he was trying to help you"
"You did that" Declan sounded livid
"It's no big deal really he was drunk and wasn't thinking" I said
"You sound like an abused wife"
"What is this fight about" Oliver asks
"Nothing Flynn just really wants my sloppy seconds" Emmet smirked
"DUDE" me and Lance yell
"So that's all I am to you Emmet" Jesse says in tears
"YOU FUCKED MY DAUGHTER" Oliver yelled
"You're more than that Jesse I was just trying to get under his skin" Emmet explained
"I'M GOING TO MURDER YOU" Oliver grabs his gun
"Woah now calm down let's take some deep breaths" I say and stand in front of Emmet
"So you're mad because he got Jesse" Declan asked
"He knew I liked her"
"You knew I liked her but you still made out with her on the 7th grade field trip" Emmet yelled back
"YOU KISSED HER" Olive pointed his gun at Flynn so Lance stepped in front of him
"I liked her first"
"And I gave you every opportunity but you were too much of a coward! Plus she liked me too so how is it fair for me. I'm not the bad friend you are! You guys made out in 7th grade and that went no where so why should I suffer with you"
"You're right, I'm sorry" Flynn sighed
"It's okay I was an asshole too. Friends?" Emmet asked
"Best friends"
"That's cute and all but I'm still going to murder you two" Oliver growled
"Daddy don't kill them please they're my best friends" Jesse asked
"Fine" we all relaxed
*Bang* *Bang*
"Fuck" Emmet and Flynn hissed
"Daddy"
"Those were warning shots"
"Warnings miss! You shot us in the thigh"
"Next time I'll shoot you two in the dick so be grateful"
"Now that that's resolved we're going to get them medical attention before they bleed out" Declan smiled and left with Flynn
Emmet and Lance left with Maddox
"Let's go we have lots to talk about Jessica" then they left
"Wow lots of drama Im so happy you're unproblematic" dad said
Next day
Noelle has another competition so we're currently waiting for her to perform. I love watching her perform but I just wished we didn't have to get here so early in the day on a Sunday.
I also got to see Jesse dance since they're on the same team so that was exciting. She did so well I hope she wins
"Next up is Duet/Trio number 127 Enchanted Matrix"
She looked so elegant and gorgeous but then some fucking boy walked on. They were dancing too fucking close he was touching my baby sister everywhere
"You let her dance with a boy" I asked dad with my fist clenched
"Yes"
"Well I don't like him"
"I don't either"
"Shhhh just be happy for her" daddy said
"They looked amazing but how are you not fuming that a shirtless boy was feeling up your daughter on stage"
"They were dancing he didn't do anything their teacher didn't tell them to do" he responded
"I guess"
Hours later
It's finally awards
"First overall Junior Duet/Trio award goes to act number 127 Enchanted Matrix"
I cheered and clapped for them despite my annoyance with that boy she dances with. They danced good I just don't understand where his shirt went.
"First overall senior solo goes to act number 240 Revolt"
Jesse won first overall which I was really happy about but I just couldn't get over that boy
They announced the rest of the winners then I shot up to talk to Noelle
"Look at our little Wy being overprotective" dad teased
"You're annoying" I said and walked off
I saw Noelle in the hallway with that boy. Smiling and laughing
"Super Wy" she beamed and hugged my waist
"Hey Noles you looked amazing out there" I complimented
"This is Zach my permanent dance partner"
"Nice to meet you Noelle talks about you all the time"
"Whatever. So are you ready to go"
"Totally! Bye Zack"
"Bye Noelle"
