Wyatt's POV

It's been a month since the schedule change. The gang still has lunch together but I don't go anymore. I usually have detention for not doing homework. They made friends in their classes too so at least they're having fun. I, on the other hand don't talk to anyone or participate in school.

"Hey Wyatt" I look up and see Dakota I roll my eyes and kept walking to class

She sighs. I know I'm being mean but I don't have it in me to pretend and be happy. Plus I'm not gonna be around for too long anyways so it wouldn't be fair to lead her on.

I have no soccer, no friends, my family is disappointed in me, and mom isn't here to sing to me. An eternity of hell must be better than a lifetime on earth. Right?

"Wyatt did you complete your homework"

I just ignored the teacher

"I'm not gonna ask again Wyatt"

"Good because your voice is fucking annoying"

"God no wonder why your parents put you up for adoption" he said and half the class laughed

"God no wonder your husband cheated on you with your sister"

"Stay after class"

"No"

After a very boring English class

"Wyatt I told you to wait"

"What do you want" I asked

She got up and locked the door

"Well you're a handsome young man"

She touched my crotch

"Oh wow no thank you. I'm actually late for class" I shot up out of my seat

"Unless you want a different teacher to have their way with your sister you'll stay and drop your pants" she threatened

"I don't care open the fucking door" I was panicking

"Fine if you really don't care about your sister go ahead" she unlocked the door and I ran out

I went straight to Noelle's classroom

"My dad says I have to give Noelle something" the teacher nodded

"What is it Wyatt"

"We have to go home now"

"Why"

"Don't ask questions let's just go" she nodded and we ran out the front

"Come back here" the security guard yelled but we ignored him

"Wyatt slow down" Noelle panted

"Cmon the bus is right there just a little more"

"I can't" I stopped and picked her up

"Better" she nodded and held on tight

We made it to the bus and it drove off before the fat ass guard could catch us

"Where gonna be in so much trouble"

"It's fine"

"Are you okay" I nodded

"Well you've been quiet and in your room all the time and I miss you" she started crying

"Please don't cry. I've been in trouble, dad and daddy hate me, so it's been hard. I'm still here and since we're gonna be in trouble let's make the most of the day. Where do you wanna go"

"Let's go to the museum"

"Really" I asked

"Yeah when I grow up I wanna be a paleontologist" I nodded

6 hours later

I disabled the tracker on my phone and ditched Noelle's necklace. Then we spent the day at the mall

It was honestly the best day we've ever had together. I wanted her last memory with me to be a happy one.

"I love you so much Noelle"

"I love you too Wyatt"

"No matter what happens I want you to know it wasn't your fault and you were the best sister I could have ever had. I'm sorry if I make you sad, it wasn't you I'm just not as strong as you think. Whenever you miss me hug your stuffed triceratops"

"You're being weird Wy"

"It'll make sense when you're older" she nodded

"Brace yourself" I told her as we rang the doorbell

"Where have you been" dad asked extremely calm

"At the museum Wy took me" daddy smiled at her then sent her up to her room

"It's one thing for you to skip and be a shitty student but you dragged your sister with you"

"She wasn't safe at school and you were gonna yell at me either way so I gave her the best day ever"

"Then you call us. You know what I think? I think you needed an excuse to leave so you took your sister out and about. Do you know how dangerous it is to roam around unsupervised. You do but you don't give a shit. I didn't think I could be more disappointed in you but you know how to prove me wrong" Daddy said

"I just wanted to give her a good memory before I go"

"Go where" dad asked

"None of your concern" I said and went upstairs

"Where are you going"

"I'm grounding myself"
