Wyatt's POV

I wake up to a knock at my door

"Come in" I say half asleep

"Hey Ash, I just want to say I'm so fucking sorry for everything. I should've known something was up and it was unfair for me to take everything away from you. When Alessio told me you were going to attempt my world stopped. I don't know what I'd do if I lost you. You're my son, my first born. Please don't scare me like that again. I'm not sure my old heart could take that. If you ever need to talk about anything just come to me" he was crying

I never thought I'd see dad so vulnerable

"It's okay, I know you didn't mean it"

"I spoke to your principal about redoing your classes and your teacher is going to be dealt with" he said dangerously

"Also Alessio suggested I'd get you a pet so you can have company at night. So later we can go get you any animal you want"

"Holy shit really! Thank you"

"Oscar is in the music room he's been up all night and you know how emotional he gets. He blames himself for your attempt so if you don't see him that's probably why" I nodded

"Before you go I have a question" I stop him

"I've been such a cunt to Dakota and I think I ruined my chances with her. Uh I guess I'm asking for advice. How do you get daddy to make up with you"

"Um my methods aren't very appropriate"

"Ugh gross get out of my room I'll figure it out"

He laughed

"I'm kidding, Oscar is childish. If I want him to stop being mad at me I do something big and cartoon related. He's also a fat ass so I just buy him food or candy. I can't help you because Oscar is different so my best bet is to ask him he'll think of something"

"Thanks but who knows maybe I can try something inappropriate" I smirked

"I'll kill you"

"Not if I do it first" I joked and he got tense

"Too soon" I asked

"Yeah"

I got up and went to the music room and found daddy just playing away at the piano

"Howdy" I said and he jumped

"Hi Wy what brings you here" he asked without looking at me

"I know you think it's your fault but trust me it wasn't"

"It was. I was so terrible to you and if I would've done better you wouldn't have been so unhappy. I hate that I couldn't see how much I was hurting you. I don't deserve your forgiveness but I wanna show you something" he got up and gestured for me to follow him

We went up to the attic and I was speechless

"This is why I wasn't around a lot after you got into trouble at school. I wasn't avoiding you I just wanted you to smile again. It's dumb you would've smiled if I had talked to you or let you play soccer. It's not much but I was saving it as a reward for when you passed the semester"

"How'd you get this" my voice cracked

"I called the church in Spain and asked them about your mother. They informed me that they kept her house untouched in the event you'd want to claim her belongings. I flew out and brought everything here. I tried to make it look as much as your old home as posible"

It was all of my mothers things from the old house

Tears spilled from my eyes and I tackled him in a tight hug

"Thank you so much"

"No problem Wyatt. Now whenever you're sad and you miss her you can come up here and it'll be like she never left"

"I love it and I love you so fucking much"

"Language" I chuckled at his warning

"I'll let you be and whenever you're ready you can come down"

"Wait I need help with something"

"What's up"

"I messed up big time with Kota and I don't know how to make it up to her"

"Oh I have a crazy idea. It's risky but it just might work"

"What is it I'll do anything"

"Apologize to her" he said in a duh tone

"No shit Sherlock but what if that's not enough"

"Explain that you were going through a lot and you really like her. Be humble and let her see that you're sorry. If you want I can drive you to the flower shop her grandmother owns and you can make up with her"

"I can't just show up and what if she doesn't wanna talk to me"

"Then go above her. Get her grandmother to like you and she'll push you onto her"

"Her grandmother loves rum raisin ice cream and Kota loves Cookie Monster I can take some"

"Then, you can offer to help out. Her grandmother will see you're a sweet young man"

"That's perfect can we go after we go pet shopping please"

"Sure"

"Okay let's go eat" I beamed
