🎃 Werewolf! Bakugō x Reader

"Who's a good boy?" I make a kissy face. "Who's a good boy, Katsuki?"

"Will you stop that." Katsuki's red eyes glare. He has fully turned into a half-wolf now, the moon shining through the window.

"Come on, who's a good boy?" I scratch behind his ear. His tongue lolls out briefly, then he takes it back.

"Stop it," he grumbles, "why am I dating someone who babytalks dogs."

"Okay, okay. But your werewolf form is so cute," I concede, laying back against the couch and focusing on the movie again.

Contrary to popular belief, werewolves don't lose all rationality when they turn. They just get about 50% more impulsive. And a lot more wolflike. Their hunger is only from turning, when a lot of energy is burnt.

Katsuki eyes my hands, a pout on his lips. "I didn't mean-- nevermind," his voice has a slight growl at the end.

"What is it, Katsuki?" I turn my attention back to him.

"Nothing." He crosses his arms, eyes on the movie.

I smile, patting my lap. "Wanna lay down? I'll let you take a nap if you let me pet your ears."

His tail wags before he can stop it, holding it down with his hand. Paw? It's somewhere between.

"No."

"Come on, Katsuki," I puppytalk. "Please, lovey?"

"Only because you're nagging," he mumbles roughly, plopping down onto my lap. I run my hands through his ear fur, watching him slowly relax. The Nightmare Before Christmas plays as we watch quietly.

The sound of snores fills the air when he falls asleep, sprawled all over the couch in what can't be a comfortable position. I shake my head as his tongue lolls out again.

"Who's a good boy, Katsuki?" I whisper to him.

A smile breaches his lips. "Is it me?" His sleep talk replies, his tail wagging of its own accord.

My boyfriend is just an idiot dog with extra steps.
