7:56am - Waking up

Mornings were always an interesting time. One moment you were sleeping peacefully with a tako snuggled to your chest, her tentacles curling around the two of you like pillows and blankets, then the next moment there were two gremlins jumping on the bed, yelling for the both of you to get up.

It was in this moment you felt completely peacefully. You had thankfully closed the curtains on the windows before you and Ina had fallen asleep, because if you hadn't, the soft light gently filtering into the room would've been blinding you right now.

Speaking of Ina, said tako was happily sleeping, resting her head right below your chin, her ear flaps occasionally brushing against your cheeks and close to your mouth. Every now and then, a soft 'wah' would escape her, like she was dreaming, and then she'd try to snuggle further into your warmth.

Around you, her tentacles were softly shuffling around, reacting to every flicker of her eyelids or every sound she'd make. At first, you'd assumed they would be wet and slimy, but Ina proved you wrong and showed you they were rather soft and warm, perfect for sleeping on or under.

Of course, perfect moments like these never lasted long.

"HEY SLEEPY HEADS! WAKE UP! KIARA'S MAKING PANCAKES" Both Gura and Amelia tasked themselves with waking everybody every morning. Big mistake.

Ina, who was woken up by the loud noise, jolted up and accidentally headbutted you with the top of her head. Gura laughed and proceeded to jump on Ina's bed, another attempt on getting you up.

Ina, who preferred to wake up by herself and was not happy that Gura and Amelia barged in like that, simply used her tentacles to grab them and force them out the room, locking the door behind them.

One might think that you may as well get up, but no. Ina merely reversed the positions you were sleeping in, so her chin was now resting on your head, and then flopped back on to one of her tentacles and fell asleep again.

8:21am - Breakfast

Breakfast always ends up as a huge mess. Besides dinner, it's the only time you all eat together. Amelia and Kiara usually take joking jabs at each other, Gura is a messy eater, Ina's trying to keep her tentacles from getting caught in the crossfire and Calli usually falls asleep halfway through finishing her food. Then back to you who just sits closer to Ina while sipping on your beverage of choice.

If you had to choose how to describe a normal breakfast, you'd only have to use two words. Pure chaos.
