"What do you mean, 'they're here'?" Ethan asked.

    "See for yourself."

Ethan switched his smartpad on.

"Someone was killed by the Lunar Army,"  Ethan said quietly.

"They've already sent people. Anybody could be one of them." Nova informed him.

"Then we've got to get that weapon as soon as possible."

    "Obviously."

Ethan smiled as his eyes glittered.

Nova loved that. When his blue eyes glittered in the light. Though she hated to admit it, it made her heart skip a beat, she could get lost in those sapphire eyes.

She mentally slapped herself back to reality. She needed to stop obsessing over his eyes.

"We can figure out the final object for the code on the way," Nova informed Ethan.

    "On the way to where?"

"The coffee shop. I want some more shakemilks."

"Shakemilks?" Ethan asked, trying his best not to laugh.

"Isn't that how you say it?"

"...Yes. Yes it is," Ethan lied, stifling laughter.

They left the building, walking down the street towards the coffee shop. Mabel was at the counter again, working her shift.

     "Oh! Hey, Mabel!" Nova smiled.

     "Do I know you?"

"Right! I meant to say, hey Mabel, I'm Nova."

Mabel smiled at her.

"Hey. Are you new to the school district?" Mabel asked.

    "Sure."

"Well, then welcome to the district," Mabel said warmly.

"Are you and your boyfriend going to order anything?"

Nova's face flushed as Ethan smirked.

    "He's not my boyfriend."

    "Not yet," Mabel mumbled.

    "I'm sorry?"

"I don't know. You two seem like you're supposed to be in a romance novel. So no matter how stupid the scenario, you'll fall in love." Mabel commented.

    "That's...oddly specific," Ethan said blandly.

"And completely ridiculous. You don't even know me," Nova told her.

Mabel mumbled something under her breath and remembered that she was supposed to be the counter girl.

"Anyways! Would you like to order anything?"

"Oh, yeah. I'll have a chocolate shakemilk," Nova informed her.

Mabel blinked a few times before Ethan winked at her.

"Coming right up. One shakemilk," Mabel smiled.

She went to the back and came back shortly later, with and chocolate milkshake in her hand.

"Did you want one?" Nova asked Ethan.

"No thanks. I don't really want a shakemilk," Ethan told her, trying to sound as serious as possible.
