You aren't. You wouldn't dare.
And yet, here she was. Packing to go back to Earth. Well, actually, she was looking for a phone, or smart pad, or any device of any sort so she could reach Alex.
The whole point of this entire thing was to reunite Alex and Ethan with their families. And here she was, looking for her stupid smart pad.
She groaned after looking for ten minutes and finding nothing. How come she was always losing everything? She walked into the living room, looking under pillows, the couch, everything.
I swear if I don't-
"Looking for something?" Ethan smirked behind her.
This time she didn't even turn around. She had gotten used to him sneaking up behind her, his seemingly silent steps. She wasn't sure if that was a good thing.
"I'm trying to find my smart pad or phone so I can reach Alex," Nova sighed, frustrated.
"Have you tried your back pocket?" Ethan asked slowly.
"Don't be silly, Ethan, those things are too ridiculously tiny to-"
She felt something hard in hard back pocket. She slipped out her phone.
"Would you look at that," She shrugged to cover up her embarrassment.
She impatiently scrolled down to Alex's contact. Her finger hovered over his name.
It's now or never.

"We're so sorry, Janet," Sam said once again.
They had arrived back about an hour ago. Sam felt really bad that they had gotten nowhere with the 'case'.
"It's not your fault, dear," Janet smiled.
"Besides, at least one good thing came out of this weekend."
Sam looked at her, confused.
"I found one person that's willing to help."
"Really? That's great!" Sam said.
"I just hope Elliot will get to meet her again."
Again?

"Alex!" Jasmine called.
"What?" He grumbled.
"If you could just get your butt over here," She gestured for him to come to her.
"What do you need?"
"Nova's calling you."
He gave her a confused look.
"Why would she be calling me?
Jasmine handed him the phone.
"You're about to find out."
He reluctantly took the phone as Jasmine left the room.
"Hello?"
"Um, hi, Alex." He heard Nova's voice.
"I kind of have something to ask you."
"Go on."
Nova exhaled.
"Don't ask me why, and don't ask me how, but.."
