"And you're not going to tell anyone?" Mason asked Jade seriously.

Jade nodded and mumbled something under her breath.

"I'm serious, Jade. You have to swear not to tell anyone."

"Fine! I won't say anything," Jade sighed.

       "Are you still mad?"

       "Honestly, no," Jade sighed.

"I just wish you would've told me."

"But that doesn't make any sense," Nova said.

Nova and Ethan were sitting in the room after Ethan had explained everything that had happened.

"Well that's what happened," Ethan told her.

"But none of that makes any sense," Nova said, sitting up.

"Why was it raining? Who was that guy? And who's his son?" Nova wondered aloud.

Ethan had a feeling he knew who it was. It was a little obvious. But he also know Jade knew more than she was telling.

Nova groaned.

"What's wrong?" Ethan asked, although he probably knew the answer to that question.

"Why does this keep happening?" Nova complained.

"Every time we think we've gotten somewhere, every time we're starting to get on track, we go back to square one. Not even knowing what's happening," She said.

"This whole thing has been all over the place. I don't know what to do. I never did."

Ethan just nodded. Suddenly, Nova eyes turned on like a lightbulb had flashed in her brain.

"I need to find him," She said.

    "I'm sorry?"

"That guy. I should find him," Nova told Ethan.

"Are you serious? You mean the one that tried to kill you?" Ethan asked in disbelief.

"But he didn't! And we need to find out why. Where ever he is, he probably has more information on what the Ultra Weapon really is."

"I'm not about to let you do something dangerous like that."

"I'm fine! I can do it by myself," She argued.

"Sorry to break it to you but, no, you can't! It's too dangerous for you-"

"Too dangerous? You don't even know where he is for that matter-"

"Guys?" Jade asked, standing in the doorway.

"What?" They both snapped in unison.

Jade blinked at them for a moment, confused.

"I was just... checking," Jade said.

     "But I'll, um, come later."

"It's fine," Nova said, getting up.

    "I'm leaving."

Like that, she walked out, leaving Jade and Ethan alone. Right when Jade was about to leave, Ethan stopped her.

   "Yeah?"

"Do you know anything about that guy?" Ethan confronted her.

   "What guy?" Jade said innocently.
