Lennox POV
I sat in the bleachers, watching Jayce as she swam laps back and forth in the pool. We are currently at her swimming lessons, she takes them at the local community center. I felt that she was at the age where she needed to start learning. Especially since it's summer and one of her favorite activities is going to the beach. She knows how to doggy-paddle but I enrolled her into instructional classes because that's not adequate. A doggy-paddle will not save her life if she's in danger.
Honestly, I'm bored out of my mind right now but I wasn't just going to drop her off and leave. I've seen some parents do this since their presence is not required but I'm not just going to leave my child with a total stranger. School or even at friend's house is one thing but the idea of her spending hours upon hours with some random adult without any sort of additional supervision does not sit right with me.
I come to every single boring ass lesson, half paying attention to Jayce-Lynn in the pool to make sure she's okay and spending the other half of the time scrolling through social media. I multi-task.
I'm glad I'm doing so because Beckham is posting some sort of animal all over his story and I'm trying to figure out who it belongs to and where it came from. He doesn't have any pets.
