"annie?"

i looked up from my schedule to see chenle

"chenle? you've gotten so tall!"

"it's been 5 months not five years. i don't look that different." he rolled his eyes and snatched the schedule away from me

"let's see... you have math with me and renjun, nice!" he exclaimed excitedly

"renjun?"

sounds familiar.

"he transferred here from china when you left to the academy so you don't know him yet but i told him all about you and how you were my best friend and that he can't replace you"

"my chenle, so passionate and loyal" i pinched his cheeks

i felt a shoulder bump against mine from behind mine

"excuse me" the boy said in a blunt voice

i looked up and saw that one of the boys from the group bumped into chenle as well

all i could see was there backs but they already looked scary and intimidating. but that doesn't mean i'll keep my mouth shut.

the boy and all his friends turned around to face us and that made me stop my words.

i knew i would see him here. and i thought i was prepared. but apparently not enough.
