I get into my car and drive through to my apartment. I get stuck in traffic and slam my hands on the wheel, for gods sake. I put my head on my hand that rests on the door.
You: "Come on you piece of shit turn green!!"
The light finally changes and I park in my spot. I get out of my car and drag myself up the stairs. I unlock the door and swing into the apartment.
You: "Hey guys..."
Stacie: "You don't sound too happy"
You: "Fucking London traffic"
Hannah: " Wow...how's your new job?"
You: "Great. I'm working on a hotel, it's not that boring"
Stacie: "That's new"
You fall onto the sofa and Stacie rubs your back. You smile. Your friends are the things that get you through the day, you'd leave Tyler if you could but you can't, he'll kill you.
4 hours later...
It just went past midnight and you're asleep on the sofa, Stacie kneels down in front of you and gently shakes you awake.
Stacie: "Wakey Wakey"
You: "Am I late for work?"
Stacie: "No don't worry, you need to go to bed, your mascara is all over your face"
You smile and wonder if your bruises are on show.
You: "Goodnight"
You stand up and go to your bedroom. You go into the bathroom and take off your makeup, you change into some cute pjs

and climb into bed.

Your roommates are the best. Stacie and Hannah have been your best friends since nursery, you grew up together and you knew you'd grow old together.
Stacie started dating Alex at 16 and now she's 22, they're the best couple well Hannah and Liam are super cute. They think you and Tyler are but the abuse he coordinates towards you hurts, but again they won't know. You can't tell them.
Hannah and Liam have been together for 5 years, a nice couple, so cute.
Your group chat gets weird.

Hannah: Try and apply!!!
You: I'm not that great

That was group chat last week. The thing about going still lingers in your head. You wonder if you should apply...

6:00am
Your alarm blares as you jolt up. You groan and rub your head. You put your feet on the floor and see the bruises that cover your legs. Shit! Oh for fucks sake!!! You rush into the bathroom and quickly change into some new work clothes.

You begin on your make up. You check your phone 6:58am.
Stacie: "Morning bitch!!!"
You chuckle
You: "In here!"
She runs into the bathroom as you place your make up away on the vanity.

You talk to Stacie as she sits on the second vanity chair as you do your hair.
You: "Well I'll cut down the cost"
Stacie: "Yeah, show me a picture of your bosses go on"
You both chuckle and you scroll through Facebook and you find them.
You: "This is Ryan"
You show her the phone.

Stacie: "Wow he's cute!"
You: "You have a boyfriend"
You laugh
Stacie: "Still!!"
You: "He is cute to be honest. Okay this is Danny"

Stacie: "Jesus!"
You giggle and put your phone down.
Stacie: "How do you get hot bosses, my boss if an ugly arrogant bastard! And they're angels!!"
You look at her as you continue doing your hair.
Stacie: "You're hand is literally at the back of your head, how can you keep your hand up for so long?"
You continue looking into the mirror and you're not about to tell her what Tyler makes you do.
You: "I'm not a pussy like you"
You laugh and Stacie hits your leg
A few minutes later you finish your hair and look at Stacie proud.
Stacie: "Looks great!!"

You look in the mirror and smile. You have the best roommates.
You: "I have to go..."
You begin to walk into the kitchen and sit at the kitchen island. Pancakes. You smile at the sight of pancakes. They make you feel happy. Stacie hands you a plate and you eat them.
Stacie: "You ready for work."
You: "Yep"
You get up and walk towards the door but you freeze.
Hannah: "Izzy, you alright?"
You spin on your heels.
You: "I'm going to do it...I'm going to apply for Hiddleston Supreme..."
They smile broadly and hug you
Stacie: "YAY!!!!"
You wave them bye and walk outside, you walk towards your car. Another day has begun...
