You were sat on your couch. Yes your couch, you were back at your apartment. Alone. The ache in your heart only growing by the minute. You had been told to watch out she likes to play games but it never occurred to you that you would get caught up in one.

Natasha had came to you to escape the chaos of the team. And you were doubled over by laughing at some story she was telling you about Thor. Over time, you started to calm down. But you also found yourself staring into her yes. Her beautiful green eyes, oh how you missed them. And in that moment she leans forwards and gently caught your lips in hers, moving sensually and in sync. You felt your stomach doing flips, your head was spinning making you feel a little dazed. You pulled away when you felt the burning of your lungs. "You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that" Natasha gasped. "You and I both" you giggled latching your lips to hers once more.
You felt the tears running down your face. Your head was overflowing with thoughts, did I do this? Where did I go wrong? Was I just a pawn in her twisted game? Did she really love me? Why? The team were always weary of you. You had fallen in too deep all too soon. You pulled your knees up to your chest holding yourself close for the fear of losing yourself. You sat there and cried. You didn't even know how long it had been. Only when you dragged your head up, you saw that it was nearly sunrise. You didn't even know how the time went by, it was all just a haze a cold, sad haze.
And now
When all is done, there is nothing to say

You felt naked, purely, utterly naked. She was your first love and most likely you last. You trust issues have now shot right up. You had exposed your pure self to her and this is how she treated you. You weirdly felt dirty for allowing her to do this. But ie was your fault, you chose to play the game despite the odds. And now you lost. You didn't know what to do.

You heaved yourself up, dragging your feet into the kitchen to make yourself some tea. You set the water to boil and watched. Watched where she would be standing every morning making herself her coffee and you tea for when you rolled out of bed. You watched as you curled your arms around her waist seeing her smile. Was is real? You watched as she tried to reach to get her favourite mug down from the highest shelf. You had put it there so you would have to help her. You watched as you pressed your body against hers and brushed your hand across hers to reach her mug. Again a smile was oh her face. Was it real?

You were slumped back on the couch with a steaming cup of tea in your hands sizzling your skin. Though you didn't care. Nothing did. Feelings. Definitely not. Nothing. You lost in your own train of thought when you heard a light knock at the door pulling you from your own little world of resentment.
You lazily got up and stalled over to the door, not caring what you looked like and slowly opened it. What you saw was not what you expected. At. All. You found the whole team there well, the whole team except Natasha. Tony, Thor, Bruce, Steve, Clint, Bucky, Sam, Wanda, Pietro and Vision. A lot of people to fit into a tiny apartment yet you still let them in. You sat in between Thor and Pietro. That had all heard what had happened and had come to see you leaving Natasha alone at the tower.
They were disappointed in her, you had been nothing but good to her, she had been good to you until she had to go sleep with ..... for a few weeks she actually thought you she had something. Until there was a minor setback in the system. She didn't deserve love, not yours, you were too good.
You cuddled into Pietro's side whilst the whole team was chatting away, you were quiet, but they didn't mind. They just wanted to be there for you. Poor Steve brought you flowers and your favourite chocolates which Thor was eating though you didn't mind. You never knew you needed company until it was actually given to you.

You were walking down the street and someone softly grabbed your arm. Your head snapped to the side to find Natasha with a sorrowful face. "I'm sorry Y/N I need you" She says sincerely. You were happy now, you didn't need this. You ragged your arm out of her grasp and walked away with a silent tear rolling down you face.

A letter had arrived in the avengers mail and it was addressed to the whole team, even Natasha.
"You have been invited to Y/N and Y/P/No's wedding.............
please let us know in the RSVP if you will be attending (I'm not formal so I wouldn't know how to write a wedding invitation hehe)"
All the team was happy, happy for you. Except Natasha, she had let you slip through her fingers and it was all her fault.
