You traversed the stairs hastily to him and he looked up the stairs, then back to you.

"Are they-"

"How many came through?"

"Two ran pa-"

Before he could finish, you were sprinting back towards the bridges but call out to him.

"They're dealt with, stay at the top of the stairs and be ready for more!"

Back at the bottom, things were still chaotic as countless lizalfos charged out of the tree line.
Thankfully, it seemed like the rito warriors had it under control.
Letting arrows pepper the sky and yet be dead on target, throwing the lizalfos to the ground with great force.

Just before you cleared the first bridge, Lilith and the others had cleared the second.

"Oh god, are you ok!?"

You brushed Liliths worry off and gently directed her towards the last bridge.

"I'm fine!
Now go, go quickly!"

"But-"

She looked back and you were already well on your way towards the fight.
Then daniel, who had Kheel sat in his arm grabbed her and continued further up.

As you made it down the bridge, another pair of lizalfos come into view, instantly rushing you.

You step to the side whack one with the blunt end of the spear and follow up with a jab into the other, forcing it back a number of steps while the one you whacked was now behind you and had a chance to keep going so you had no choice but to turn and throw the spear.

It slips into it's back, spewing up a disgusting purple goo.
The other pounces up into the air and begins to fall down, screeching with murderous intent.
You used a gale just as it reached you and throw it back up into the air, remembering your split second decision with the bomb trap.

You then dashed over and pulled your spear out of the ground as it writhed frantically before hitting the dirt.
Now you knew the second was dead, leaving the rest to be a breeze.

That's what you hoped at least as the lizalfos snuck in a shot of its saliva, landing a hit on your thigh.

Pain shot through it, buckling your leg and almost throwing you to the ground too but you caught yourself and stumbled back a few steps, letting your foe get back up.

Pushing through the pain, you prepare yourself as much as you could while the lizalfos looked for an opening or a way to slip past.

No doubt it tried both, dipping down to avoid another jab but you spun the spear, throwing the blunt end down into its skull.
It caused it to swipe back at you violently, managing to land another hit but only scraping the leather on your chest before you could get back.

As it reached out for another swipe, you duck, kick out one leg and slip the spear up into its jugular while grabbing its horn and yanking back.

It then forced itself deeper, almost protruding out through its spine, you then finish it off by pulling the spear out and let it fall down into a heap before decomposing into that putrid looking sludge.

You fall back into a sprint once more but with a small hobble to each step, finally covering the second bridge but only to see just how many enemies there were now.

At least a dozen lazalfos were frantically scattering about the area, some choosing to flee while the rest opted returned fire, letting their arrows zip towards the rito's.
They missed repeatedly as their opponents swiftly evaded arrows.

In a half minded conscience, you swing and after a few seconds realise you had hit a lizalfos that was sneaking up the cliff face.

When you looked back, a rito had been hit and was desperately trying to recover but slams into the ground, kicking up a lot of dirt and dust.

You rushed over, quickly dealing with more lizalfos, too many lizalfos but thankfully they were weaker enemies than most.
As the dust cleared and you approached, you recognized on the spot that it was Teba with an arrow lodged in his wing and looking pretty bruisedup from the fall.
The sight of his blood soaking his feathers, snapped you into action.

You haul him up and rap your arms underneath and start dragging him to the stables.
More enemies rush towards you, just in time three arrows land, two into on and the last sank clean into its head.

There were still two more, closing in fast.
You manage to haul him over to the stable entrance and lean him upright before spinning around and dragging the spear around in a wide swing, forcing the two to step back.

Then Revali lands on the upper beam of the stables entrance, sinks two arrows each into your foes and starts eliminating any who tried their luck.

You take a step forward and suddenly your other was pulled back, throwing you onto your chest and you drop the spear.
Your clone rushes in and hops over you, dropkicking the enemy and throwing it across the dirt to a grinding halt.
