Your skin turned pale, you shook so hard, sweat dripped and you tried your best to control your breathing with a hand against your chest.

The caravan was too big to fit through the archways so everyone started to unpack, seemed like you were staying for more than just the afternoon.

You watch Zeldas carriage pull off to the side as link stands beside, ready to walk her into the village while the champions stood by the entrance.

Nearly falling to your knees as you dismount Fortan, you grip onto the saddle and rest your head against it, trying to regain yourself.

Flashes of those moments bombard you when a sound cut through the air.
Music, you couldnt tell what it was but it was there, echoing faintly across the mountain tops.

"(Y/n)!"

You look over to see Daruk waiting for you as the others walk into the village.
You catch up, giving daruk a smile, trying to hide how you actually felt at that moment as you glance at Fortan, making sure he would be ok while you were gone.

"Are you ok, (y/n)?"

You look back at Daruk as he stood waiting for you.

"Yeah, just nervous.."

He looks at you trying to calm yourself poorly.

"Want some advice?"

"Im all ears"

You stop walking and giggle hearing yourself which confused Daruk.

You point to your ears, feeling childish. He laughed and shook his head before continuing.

"Well, when im nervous.. i try to think of the little things, you know?"

You raise an eyebrow.
"Um.. no, i don't"

"Really? You've never taken a moment to appreciate something? Not even once?"

"Well.. when you say it like that... i used to."

Daruk looks at you, pretty much ready to inspire you with his words but stops seeing how dejected you had become.

You stayed quiet for the rest of the walk, after a few minutes you were inside kakariko village, the atmosphere had turned into a more cheerful and relaxed as some hylians played instruments that melded into a blissful tune.

You walk over to Zelda and the champions as they all discussed over who should cover what area for shrines.

You stand between Mipha and Revali, Mipha greets you while Revali scoffs quietly while turning his head the other way.

"Ah, (y/n). How good of you to join us, how is your shoulder?"

You give your shoulder a quick shrug, it felt sore but thankfully you hadn't completely destroyed it.

"A little sore but im sure it'll pass eventually. Anyway, what did i miss?"

Zelda slides a map of the region across the table, you pull it over to get a better look.
Suddenly you remembered a number of shrines.
Some you were certain no one would find easily so you grab your pencil.

"I think i remember a few locations, may i?"

Zelda nods while watching with an inquisitive look.
So was everyone else as you started marking spots with an 'X'

You mark 3 on the dueling peeks, then another that was near the village beyond a neighbouring mountain.

You take a minute to try and recall a few more shrines, managing to mark one that was a short distance from the stable and another opposite of the cliffs of Quince leading up to hateno village.

Revali speaks up with a little disdain in his voice
"How do you know about all of these?"

Your heart lurched.

"I happened to stumble apon a few and caught a glimpse of one of the two up on the mountain peak. Im suprised you didnt spot that."

Revali turns his gaze to you, looking offended by your remark.
"Excuse me?"

You look into his eyes with the most blank expression you could hold.
"You heard me, you would have easily seen the two while i caught back up yesterday."

"W-well, i was too busy making sure you didnt try and get yourself killed."

You look back at the map, feeling like you had wasted his time.
"Sorry to disappoint you but im not worth your time and effort"

You let that slip out, as your eyes widen, you shut yourself up and set down the pencil while keeping your eyes glued to the table.

"Thats all the locations i can think of.."
After an awkward silence, Zelda kindly takes the map back and looks over it a few times before thanking you.

"Ok then.. now that's settled, theres no need to tell you who's assigned with who as its still the same as last time.
Hopefully with (y/n)'s help, we can find out more about the sheikah technology"

While Zelda wrapped up the meeting, you stood to the side, you see everyone start to walk off in pairs, Mipha went with Urbosa and Daruk while Link was stuck with Revali.

He gave Link a distasteful look but once he looked at you, that look grew strong but was quickly washed away by something else, link looks back at you and you sign "good luck" which he returns it with a wide wave.

Zelda calls you over as the champions head off towards their objective.

You walk over only to be handed a bag of rupees by one of thw gaurds accompanying her. You were about to ask why but she beat you to the punch.

"I noticed you're in need of new clothes"

You didnt fight against it as she was obviously right, you looked as if you had fought to an inch of your life.

You check yourself over after realising you had gotten pretty dirty over the last week, scuff marks and muddy patchs all over your legs and torso while a gaping hole where the shock arrow had been taunted you.

You reluctantly take the bag of rupees, thanking Zelda before asking where to go.
