You stood back and watched as he rushed up the stairs and embraced her, never letting go as they both cried.

"I'm so sorry, I never stopped looking.. i-i never gave up.."

Battling against your emotions, you left, leaving them in peace and walked through the crowd.
Your mind replayed yours and Urbosa's capture over and over, just how much pain and suffering did poor girl go through and witness..

To what extent did all of those have to suffer for the yiga's own gain...

"(Y/n)!"

With a jolt, you look over to see Mipha calling over to you and another nearby shoots up off from one of the beds in the inn.

"You need to see this!"
You rush over expecting trouble, you see Mazli sitting in a chair on the far side of the inn and felt a little at ease.

What you saw next swept a rug out from under you, causing the emotions you battled against to swell up, ready to burst.
Tears start pouring down your cheeks as you lay eyes upon.. an old friend.

Then your name gets called out again from behind in a hushed tone, it caused your tears to overwhelm you, your vision blured as you turned and the afternoon sun shone into your eyes, memory after memory flooded your mind until you rub your eyes and see someone dear to you, someone who loved and cared for you at a time when you needed it the most.

Your vision blured again and you get pulled into a tight hug, you feel a few droplets fall onto your shoulder.
Your body felt numb, all of your stress from the last month was swept away without a trace left to burden you.

"D-Daniel, wake up!"

You look over to see a man shoot up and out of a bed after looking at you, he rushed over to hug you as well.

"Am I dreaming, is it really you?!"

You couldn't say anything, you just kept on crying as you were held in a loving embrace.

"Patrisha and i..we looked everywhere... W-we didn't know what to do.. I... Lilith was.."

A couple shallow and withered words slipped out from your quivering lips.

"I'm sorry.."

You feel a hand run through your hair, you had forgotten to pull up your hood but you could care less about it any more.

You get a grip of yourself and look back at Lilith, you could see blood soaked into her clothes on her shoulder and spattered up her neck to her cheek.

"What happened to her?"

"It was.. um.. you called it a talus, Mazli?"

"Yes, she got the brunt of it and.. took a rough fall down a cliff face.. I was lucky to have caught her before she hit the ground.."

You kept looking at her, your chest felt constricted, you couldn't breath, you played scenario after scenario from her in pain, a talus crushing her underneath its fist to her lying at the bottom of a cliff in pain, helpless.

Mipha rested a hand on your shoulder and it all stopped.
"She'll be ok, I've healed her as much as I can.. all we can do now is let her rest."

As time passed, you sat by Lilith's side.. waiting for her to wake up.
Her mother laid, slumped over her with a hand loosely grasping hers while her husband kept her close by his side.

He gave you a few glances like he wanted to ask something.

"Why did you leave?.."

You didnt look but you still answered.

"To protect all of you."

"From what?"

"Remember how you three found me?.."

"In the forest.."

"I was running from some.. bad people.. one day while we were out shopping.. I saw one of the people chasing me.."

Daniel didnt say anything, he had a mixed look, one that said he understood but was scared.

"You three were... that close to being killed, because of me.. I couldnt let that happen.. not again."

Before he could answer, a horn blared out from a far.
You and Mipha shoot up and rush to the balcony to see what was coming.

"Well, that's not good..."

Torches peppered every path around the stable and up towards the neighbouring regions.

Both of you gave each other a glance and headed down.

"(Y/n), what are you doi-"

"I'll explain later, Daniel!"

Every pillar you crossed, you could see more of what you were up against, numerous bokoblin and moblins came into view, swinging weapons recklessly at a few hylians and rito as they held their ground.

You were just ahead of Mipha.

"Hey Mipha, need a boost?"

With some quick thinking, you used a gale to get the the end of the last bridge and summon your sheild.
You braced until you saw her plant her foot up against it and push up, launching her into the air.
