Calli took a deep breath. A part of her wanted to vent about this topic, but the bigger part wanted to forget it even existed. Then the other half chastised her for even getting into this situation in the first place. The other other half told the other half to go fuck itself.

Calli could feel her hands shaking as she kept remembering, kept feeling the pain she had felt all those times before. She didn't even bother to check the responses from her friends, instead opting to click on a contact she hadn't opened in years. Scrolling through them provided her with a sense of comfort, but it just broke her more and more thinking about who sent them to her.
Twitching and shaking, Calli used one hand to stifle the sobs trying to escape her, feeling the cold tears slipping down her cheek and singeing her bedsheets with every droplet.
