25: Brother Bonding

"Taehyung, are you ready for the shoot?" Namjoon asks rushing inside the changing room where he sees a stylist fixing the maknae's clothes.

"I am." The younger replies.

"Manager Namjoon, I just have to fix his hair once and then he'll be ready. Give me five more minutes." The stylist says. Namjoon nods and moves towards the other members. It's 7 in the morning. All of them had to wake up at 4:30 AM and leave for the set which is a little away from Seoul.

Once Taehyung is ready, he joins Baekhyun and Chanyeol who are sitting near the photoshoot area. No body talks as all the boys feel sleepy. It's too early but they can't do anything about it. Work is work.

When Jimin and Yoongi reach the area, they see Taehyung's eyes closed. Yoongi asks the others if the younger is sleeping to which they say yes because Taehyung has been in the same position for a while now.

"Oh why wouldn't he feel sleepy when instead of sleeping at night, he was talking to that friend of his." Jimin says rolling his eyes. Taehyung is actually not asleep, he just has his eyes closed but he doesn't open his eyes and say anything. He is just not in the mood to start a fight with his best friend early in the morning.

"Jimin, you need to stop. Taehyung is our little brother and it's our job to protect him but it doesn't mean we'd boss him around and tell him what to do all the time." Yoongi says.

"Yes, in fact we should be happy that besides the four of us and Namjoon, Taehyung is actually comfortable with someone." Baekhyun says.

"But he should be careful, hyungs. That's all I want to say." Jimin insists.

"Would you like it if we keep telling you to be careful around Jongin and Taemin continuously? No, right? You'd feel bad because they are your friends and care for you too." Chanyeol says.

"Yes, Chim and you don't wanna appear like someone who's jealous because his best friend got a new friend." Yoongi says. The other two boys laugh while Taehyung mentally praises his other hyungs for talking some sense into Jimin.

"But is it only friendship between him and Jungkook?" Jimin asks.

"We don't know that. But I'm sure Taehyung knows what's right and what's wrong for him." Yoongi says.

"Yes, he would never do something that harms the reputation of KX5. After all, all of us have worked so hard to reach where we are today." Baekhyun says. Everyone agrees and decides to drop the topic.

Soon Namjoon comes to inform them that it's time for the shoot. "No, but why is Taehyung sleeping?" He asks.

"He is working so hard after coming back from the hiatus so I think he's tired because of that." Jimin says. Taehyung is surprised but also happy listening to his best friend. At least he didn't say anything to Namjoon.

Namjoon shakes him to wake him up and Taehyung blinks several times after opening his eyes. "Come on, it's time."

The photoshoot takes place for the next five hours. The boys try out so many different outfits and get a lot of solo and group photos taken. When the last slot of photos are taken, Jung Hoseok, the CEO of Extravaganza, the popular clothing and accessory brand they are doing a photoshoot for, arrives.

"What is hyung doing here?" Taehyung mutters to himself.

"Are you forgetting that we're doing a photoshoot for the brand that belongs to your family?" Yoongi asks him.

"No, I mean... doesn't he have the CEO duties to do?" Taehyung asks looking at Yoongi so he fails to notice that his brother has already approached him and is now standing next to him.
