"Go home, Chae. It's getting late. I'll take care of this." Jungkook says, taking the file away from his secretary. Chaerin smiles at him and takes the file back, "It's my job, oppa. I'll go after finishing this."

"No, you're going home. Right now. It's getting late. Take it as an order from your boss." Jungkook says glaring at her even though she knows that it's fake. Chaerin smiles at him and nods.

"Take care of yourself, boss. I'll see you tomorrow." She laughs. Jungkook smiles. She takes her bag and leaves. Jungkook takes the file and goes back to his office not knowing that this interaction was seen by someone and that someone happens to be the one he had an argument with just in the morning.

Taehyung did not want to fight with the older like that. He feels so guilty because all he ever wanted in these two years time was that Jungkook comes back and things go back to normal like they were. He was hoping that Jungkook would give him a good explanation as to why he had to leave so suddenly but he even wonders if things would ever be normal, now that Chaerin works here too and that too, so closely to Jungkook.

Taehyung sighs and calms himself down before walking into Bang PD's office, getting ready for the day.

A few days pass by and KX5's comeback album would be out tomorrow. The boys are super busy. Jungkook and Taehyung did not see much of each other after that time in Jungkook's office. Well, Taehyung did see him quite a few times and whenever he saw him with Chaerin, he didn't exactly like it.

He sighs as he waits for a cab outside the office building under an umbrella because it's raining heavily. He needs to go back to the dorm and get some sleep because tomorrow, they have a lot to do. A Vlive, a global press conference, comeback performance and some other things as well. He wonders if it was a good idea to stay back at the office to practice some more because now it's raining and he didn't bring his car. None of his hyungs are in the office and he doesn't know if there are any company drivers at this time of the night at the office or not.

He then hears the honking of a car. He looks up at the car that just stopped in front of him. The window rolls down and he sees who it is. It's Jungkook. The ravenette looks at him with a small smile. "Do you want me to drop you off?"

"No, I'll... I'll take a cab." He replies.

"No need. I'll drop you. It's pretty late." Jungkook says.

"But I don't want to bother you." Taehyung says. He also doesn't want things getting awkward between them because even if they aren't close now, he likes to think of their memories from the past and pretend like things are fine.

Yes, sometimes you need to let go and if you don't, that thing keeps bothering you for the rest of your life. Not letting go is not healthy either. Taehyung knows it too. He has talked about things like that in his songs as well but when it comes to applying things on himself, he doesn't know how to. He just can't let go.

"You won't. Just get in. You have a busy day tomorrow. You don't want to be stuck here for the rest of the night instead of having some good night's sleep." Jungkook tells him. He's right though. Taehyung should rest because starting from tomorrow, the group is going to be busier than they already were.

"Alright." Taehyung sighs and moves towards the passenger's side. He gets inside and shuts the umbrella, taking it in the car.

"I'm sorry. This umbrella is wet." He says as he sees the floor of the car getting wet due to the rainwater. Jungkook smiles and says, "No worries. At least you're not wet." The ravenette didn't mean to sound like he's talking about some double meaning stuff and Taehyung knows that too. They are not exactly in the right terms to do that but here he is, with a flushed face when he hears the older say the last statement.
