31: One Last Time

Taehyung sits in his dorm room, staring out of the window. The tall buildings and the beautiful skyline of Seoul that always makes him happy isn't able to take away his sadness today. He got to know last night that Jungkook would be leaving for Japan and he doesn't know how to take this news. He is sad. So sad. Just when he thought everything would be fine and that finally he would be happy, the cause of his happiness is leaving the country.

Taehyung sighs and closes his eyes. Jungkook did reply to his text but it was very casual. Like he just told him that he is fine. He didn't even ask Taehyung how he's doing.

He opens his eyes when he hears his phone beep with a message. It's from Seokjin.

Taehyung thinks for a while and he knows that this might be the only way he can meet Jungkook because the other definitely doesn't want to see him. Or so he thinks. This might be his only chance because he doesn't even know where Jungkook lives.

Taehyung laughs at Seokjin's last message. He then goes to the bathroom and takes a quick shower. It's already 10:30 AM so he should probably get ready and leave for Yo Jo.

After fifteen minutes, he opens the main door of the dorm to step outside but then a voice stops him. "Where are you going, Taehyung-ah?"

He turns around and sees Namjoon looking at him suspiciously.

God, not right now please.

He takes a deep breath and says, "I'm going to meet Jungkook." Namjoon's eyes widen. He doesn't want Taehyung and Jungkook to meet. Now don't think of him as some evil stepmother because he is thinking about both Taehyung and Jungkook right now. And also the rest of KX5.

"Taehyung, we have to leave for the office in two hours. You guys have a-"

"I know, hyung. I know. But Jungkook is leaving for Japan tomorrow and I don't even know when I'll be seeing him next. So please let me go right now. I promise I'll be back within two hours." Taehyung says desperately. Namjoon's heart melts at his state so he tells him that he can go but he needs to be careful and be back on time.

Taehyung takes his car and in a few minutes, he reaches Cafe Yo Jo. He finds Seonghwa at the coffee counter. He sees that the cafe is already pretty crowded. He quickly makes his way towards the barista. Seonghwa notices him and smiles at him, "A hot chocolate for you?"
