"You know, sometimes telling the truth does more harm than good."
- Hanna Marin

We were all in Rosewood P.D. the next day. Detective Breyer wanted to question each of us individually. Spencer just went in. I was next.

I took a deep breath as I saw Spencer exit the room with her mother. I looked up worried as I saw him motion for me to come in.

I cleared my throat as I took a seat on the chair facing him. "You know how this works right? I'll be asking you questions and we'll be recording this conversation." He says as he points to the camera.

I take a deep breath before nodding my head in response. "Okay first question. Why were you girls so sure that Ian Thomas was the one who killed Alison Dilaurentis?"

"We received a video by an anonymous source. Probably the same person who sent it to you." I start off. "It was loaded onto Spencer's laptop. When we watched it we were able to see who Alison was talking to. Ian Thomas." I say as I look at him.

"In the video, after Alison took the camera, Ian told her to come closer and she did." I explain to him without batting an eyelash.

"And then what? Was this the first time the two were together?" He asks making eye contact with me. I take a deep breath before answering him.

"The weekend before she went missing. Ian and Alison were together. Spencer called Hilton Head to ask if Ian was there which he was, but Ian lied to her." I tell him.

"See this is what I don't understand." He says as he leans forward on the table clasping his hands together. "Ian was a star athlete right? Popular guy, dating a beautiful woman like Melissa Hastings. You really think he would risk it all for Alison?" He asks in disbelief.

"She was barely 15." He points out.

I just sigh as I think about it. "Maybe he had a thing for younger girls." He just looks at me confused. "Why would you say that? Was there other girls that he was interested in?"

"Not that I know of."

I take a deep breath as I exit the room to meet up with the other girls. All of their parents were there waiting with them. I just crossed my arms and looked away. Another reminder for me that I have no parents.

"Whoever said "the truth will set you free" never meant 'A'." Aria says as we wait together.

"Jesus." Emily says making us raise eyebrows at her. "Jesus said it. It's from the bible."

"Then Aria's right. That because that bitch is going straight to hell." Hanna snapped making me chuckle.

"I wasn't completely honest in there." Spencer tells us. "I should've been, but my mom was right there and after the whole Wren situation... I couldn't bring myself to say that I hooked up with Ian."
