"That's a high class problem to have." - Emily Fields
As soon as I got that text I sent an SOS to the other girls the next morning. I sat in the hotel lobby with them as we waited for Spencer to arrive. I nervously held my phone as the time passed by.
"You guys, I'm so sorry. I was up late last night prepping for town hall meeting. I turned my phone off. Who the hell sent that?" Spencer asks as she sets her phone on the table.
"Someone who has our new numbers." I say annoyed.
"Like Ali? We all know I am at the top of her suspect list." Aria says annoyed. "Maybe that's why Sara's hanging around. She might not be able to cut her own meat, but she can still type a text." Emily says annoyed.
"So I'm guessing everything she told the judge about Charlotte was a lie." Hanna says annoyed.
"Maybe she came back here to mourn the death of her mentor not her tormentor." Spencer suggests to us annoyed. "So we-we're definitely saying that Sara's the stalker?" Aria asks worried.
"I'm telling you guys that bitch wasn't Stockholmed." Emily says frustrated.
"Well, the only thing we know for sure is that she has spent two years helping Charlotte torture us. That's plenty of time to perfect the art of cyber stalking." I say firmly.
"Or it could just be some techie at the phone company with too much time on his hands." Hanna suggests unsure.
"God, I miss New York. I am addicted to Blue Bottle Coffee. One cup and you feel like you can handle anything your boss throws at you. Staplers, her phone--" Hanna says but Emily cuts her off. "You boss literally throws things at you?" Emily asks concerned.
I sigh and cross my arms as Hanna grabs her phone. "Wait. What are you doing?" Spencer asks worried.
"I lied to Lorenzo yesterday and he knows it. I don't have any time to play games." Hanna says worried.
"Like the techie's really gonna respond." Aria says annoyed.
I sigh as Hanna shows us her phone. "Do I know you?" I read off the screen. "Okay, the techie's typing." Emily says as we all lean forward.
"Yes." Hanna says as she shows us the screen.
After a while of us doing nothing, Emily decided to give Alison a call. "So you're with Dr. Rollins? Ah, sounds peaceful there. Okay, well, give us a call if you need anything. Bye." Emily says before ending the phone call.
"So Alison's at the Rollins' family farm in Eastern Pennsylvania. They're on a dairy tour right now." Emily explains to us.
"If Ali's really tasting Amish cheese do you think she could be the cyber stalker?" Hanna asks annoyed.
"If is a really big two letter word, Hanna." Aria says as she turns to her.
"Whoever this person is they think that we know who killed Charlotte and they're sending us these texts because they want us to rat that person out." I say worried.
