"You screwed yourself by going in there!" - Spencer Hastings
The three of us went over to Caleb's apartment later that night, where we met up with Emily, Aria, and Spencer. We spent a few minutes filling them in on what Caleb and I found out. "You guys seriously think Mona's body is in that barrel?" Aria asks in disbelief.
"Yes." Caleb says annoyed.
"We knew Alison was crazy, but to do something like that?" Emily asks worried. "Makes her even sicker than we thought." Spencer says in agreement.
"And now that psychopath is targeting me." Hanna says frustrated. I sigh as she hands them a piece of paper showing her name registered storage rental.
"Hanna, this has to be payback from when you confronted her in jail." Aria says in realization.
"Whoa, slow down. When did you see Ali?" Spencer asks confused. "And how does Aria know about that, and we're just finding out?" Emily asks confused.
"Guys, that has nothing to do with this. Okay? That storage unit was rented in Hanna's name 4 months ago, okay." Caleb says worried.
"The day before Mona was murdered." I say as I cross my arms.
"So it was Ali's plan all along to frame you." Spencer says worried. "Yeah. And that bloody knife that Toby found I probably have my prints all over it." Hanna says frustrated.
"I think it was a good choice to get rid of it." Caleb says as he turns to me. "Yeah." I say quietly.
"We should do the same thing with the stuff in the bin." Hanna says quickly.
"Hanna. Mona's body could seriously be in that barrel. Do you want to burn that, too?" Aria asks in disbelief.
"No. Of course not. But we can put it somewhere." Hanna suggests to us.
"If we touch anything, that's tampering with the evidence. Evidence that could convict Ali." I say worried.
"And me. And I don't have a good alibi." Hanna says worried. "Yes, you do. You were with me at your house, prepping the Thanksgiving turkey." Caleb says reassuring her.
"Caleb, we were alone. The cops will just think that you're protecting me." Hanna says annoyed.
"What about your mom? Where was she?" Spencer asks curiously. "She was at the soup kitchen with Ted." Hanna says annoyed.
"Well, we do have one thing going for us. We're a step ahead of Holbrook. He doesn't know that we traced Mona's laptop back to the storage unit." Caleb says reassuring us.
"How do we even know that Holbrook's behind this? It could be any one of Ali's little minions. Yesterday, we thought Holbrook was reaching out to Aria." Emily says annoyed. "Yeah, but he wasn't. He sent me on a wild goose chase for... no reason." Aria says nervously.
