It was the next day when we were all sitting at the Brew going through some of Ali's old stuff. "Okay, my mom is not connected to a cockatoo." Hanna says annoyed.
"Parrot." Emily says correcting her.
"Whatever." Hanna says annoyed. "Well, that bird is connected to Ali, Ali's connected to Wilden, and Wilden's connected to your mom and us and stuff we don't even know anything about." Aria rambles on to us.
"My mom may have hit him a little with her car, but she did not kill Wilden." Hanna says annoyed.
"Of course not." I say as I turn to Hanna. I sigh as I turn to Emily. "Hey, how's your shoulder?" I ask concerned.
"I'm seeing the doctor again tomorrow." Emily explains to us. I nod my head as I take some more things out of the box.
"Okay, why would you take all of this stuff?" I ask as I look up at Emily. "I took the bird stuff and the rest of the junk to get past Mrs. Dilaurentis with Ali's notebooks." Emily explains to us.
"We learned so much from what Ali wrote down in Em's bio book. Who knows what could be written in these?" Spencer asks as she holds up another notebook.
I sigh and follow Hanna's gaze to see her staring at Mrs. Montgomery and Zach. "Eat, bake, love." Hanna says with a smile.
"They look cozy." Spencer says with a smirk.
"Yeah, they do." Aria says as she stares at them. "How's Jake?" I ask curiously. "He's nice." Aria says as she shrugs her shoulders.
I raise an eyebrow at her as we all stare at her in disbelief. "No. Seriously, he's nice. We're seeing each other tonight." Aria says with a smile.
"Great." I say as I keep searching through the box. Aria just rolls her eyes as she stares at me. "Well, how's Alex?" She asks curiously.
"He's nice too." I say with a smile. I sigh and look up to see them all staring at me in disbelief. "Okay, what?" I ask confused.
"What do you want me to say? He's not that bad so... I don't know." I say annoyed.
"You're really done with Jason?" Spencer asks curiously. "I mean you never got a proper goodbye." Emily says with a sad smile.
"Do I have a choice? He's not here to discuss anything." I say annoyed. "You're still wearing his locket." Hanna says as she points to it.
I look down at my neck to see the heart locket still there. "Yeah, forgot to take it off." I say as I unclip the latch around my neck. I sigh as I set it on the table.
"Is it weird to be jealous of your mom's love life?" Aria asks as she continues to stare at them. I roll my eyes as Spencer hands me another notebook.
