The late morning rolled around and two girls were still asleep in there same spots. The compound was quiet, again, most of the time they felt as if it was for themselves. Bruce was always in the lab, Steve would most of the time hang out with Sam and Bucky outside the compound. Natasha mostly stayed in her room or training area.

Bruce had made his way downstairs earlier this morning noticing Wanda and Y/n still asleep. It wasn't like breakfast was Wandas thing it was an if she wanted to, when he saw she was sleeping he went into the kitchen grabbing a couple of fruits and walking out to his lab.

Wanda started to wake after hearing the door shut, when she sat up the blanket fell from her shoulders and onto her lap. She sat up straight trying to turn her head but she only received pain after being in a weird seated position for too long.

She leaned her head back until the pain went away then she able to move her neck again. She turned to look at Y/n seeing how peaceful she was and smiled herself. After a few seconds of looking at her everything came to her head at once.

Wanda Maximoff was slowly falling in love with Y/n Stark.

Of course, she liked being around Y/n more than anyone. But this time it was clear. She finally accepted it. After getting Y/n to open up to her about a lot she knew she couldn't turn her back on her just to give that information to Tony, she just couldn't.

Wanda woke up multiple times through the night having the same question run through her mind over and over again preventing her from sleeping. She got from her spot on the floor putting the blanket away and stretching before going on her walk to the lab.

Once the glass door opened to Bruce's lab, she was met with the scientist walking around with a purple shirt. "Hey, you need something?" He asked taking his glasses off and looking at Wanda as she entered the building.

"Yeah, I do." She started,

"What can I do?" Wanda walked over to a chair that sat in the middle of the lab taking a breath and getting her thoughts together to explain to Bruce the question she had.

"Y/n and I, our energies when they connect, they shock us at times but sometimes they don't. I was wondering if you can see what causes them to shock."

"Sounds a bit complicated but I can try," He made his way over to the desktop on his desk then to a hologram screen. "If you could get her DNA for me, I can look into it." He said turning back to Wanda to see if she was ok with the idea.

She nodded her head before standing up from the chair and making her way out the compound. As she was walking a gold and green mist hit her face as she stepped on the sidewalk. She stopped and waved the mist away but before she could take another step it happened again.

"Y/n." Wanda said turning around, "Where are you?" the door to the back of the compound opened up and Wanda turned back around finding Y/n leaning on the frame.

"You're late for breakfast and I'm hungry." She yelled from where she was, Wanda chuckled softly before walking back into the building, "About time," she said as she kept the door open for Wanda to enter.

"For that I'm not making breakfast." She said heading off to the kitchen.

"Haha very funny." She faked laughed and closed the door. She turned around and saw her serious look on Wandas face. "Wait what. No, no, no I take it back."

"No take backs." She responded taking an apple and sitting on the barstool. Y/n shook her head at Wanda looking 'disappointed' as she walked into the kitchen trying to see if they had any cereal and milk but she couldn't find any. "Oh, I forgot to mention. Slim pickings." Wanda said with a smirk.

Y/n turned around leaning forward on the counter not breaking eye contact with Wanda. "Shouldn't be a problem." Within a second Y/n ran to the closet grocery store finding a jug of milk and a box of cereal then returned back to her spot in the kitchen.

"Why didn't you just make something appear?" Wanda asked,

"Well if I did that Maximoff I wouldn't have to leave my room." She grabbed a bowl form the cabinets before continuing her explanation. "Anyways it's nice to live somewhat normal. I mostly use them when I'm impatient." She poured the cereal in first then the milk, "You on the other hand barely use yours."

Wanda finished her apple and got up to throw it away then went into the fridge to grab something else, "I like to use my powers for my benefit, like changing my clothes or making food if I have to. I just hate using them for fighting. I just want to- I don't know." She shrugged, "Be normal?"

Y/n didn't say anything just quietly agreed with Wanda, she grabbed herself a spoon while Wanda pulled out creamer for her coffee. When she turned around, she saw Y/n sitting down but noticed the ring on her finger. "Is that my ring?" she asked.

Y/n looked at her hand and took it off placing it on the counter. "Sorry, I was looking for you and when I got in your room, I found some. I just tried it but-"

"Y/n." Wanda said noticing Y/n was getting a bit nervous about what reaction would be. Looking up from her bowl Y/n hummed in response. "You're rambling."

"Sorry." Y/n looked back down at her bowl as she continued to eat,

"You can keep the ring; I have too many of them anyways." Wanda made her way over to the coffee machine filling up her cup,

"No Wanda, it's fine."

"Take the ring, it's ok." She said grabbing her coffee from the machine and walking out the room. Y/n's eyes followed Wanda then back to the ring that was on the counter. She picked it up putting it on her ring finger on her right hand before continuing to eat.

When she was done she headed outside down to the dock area. She collected a few rocks walking along the edge and skipping them across the water. After a few minutes she got a bored and sat down letting the sun warm her.

While that happened Wanda walked back into the kitchen retrieving the spoon Y/n used putting it in a plastic bag.
